As the DDP Deployment Transition Support Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and achieving the stabilization of assigned location(s) as we onboard to DDP and transform front, mid and back-office processes and systems for the enterprise. Your partners include employees and leaders at deployed sites, SBU Deployment Leaders in the EPMO, IT, Global Process Owners, training and other functions.
Responsibilities:
- Drive stabilization of sites deployed on DDP to mitigate financial and organizational risk.
- Provide on-the-ground and/or virtual support during site deployments, ensuring training previously completed translates into real operational readiness.
- Help solve last-minute adoption hiccups and recommend actions so teams can function without disruption.
- Set and manage stabilization expectations with team members and stakeholders. Serve as the point-of-contact for site support, tracking and triaging issues, contingency plans, prioritization, resolution, and documentation
- Facilitate closure of non-system site support concerns (e.g. – training, process clarification) with respective DDP teams and leads.
- Perform root cause analysis on gaps, identify waste, and partner with leadership to drive sustainable corrective action with a target to stabilize operations within 45 days post DDP go-live.
- Collaborate with organizational leaders to align with strategy and objectives and to define stabilization scope, goals and deliverables. Liaise with stakeholders on an on-going basis.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations including executive level presentations, communications and reporting.
- Recommend and standardize new project management processes and governance to improve future deployments and accelerate stabilization.
- Manage changes in project scope, identify potential concerns, and devise contingency plans.
- Develop employees to be self-sufficient in continuous improvement tools.
- Function as leader for continuous improvement events.
- Align activities with corporate goals around safety, quality, delivery and cost.
- Drive a strategic mindset to envision future and translate to tangible plans.
- Develop and enable process improvements and standards of excellence.
- Enable innovative solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree – Business or related degree required.
- PMP Certification preferred
- 10 years of experience in business and project management principles, including strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods in a large-scale project management capacity.
- 5 years of proven management experience leading and developing a team of resources.
- Ability to build and lead strong business relationships with other functional areas to best support mutual objectives.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze workflow and processes to provide excellent service to internal and external customers.
- Strong understanding of project management techniques and Agile methodologies.
- Understanding of business and IT processes.
- Ability to overcome difficult situations and conflicts.
- Ability to apply professional principles and business judgement to solve problems.
- Ability to influence outcomes and broad processes beyond individual function.
- Ability to spot key risks upfront and mitigate.
- Ability to bring quick focus to key issues and priorities.
- Ability to travel 25–30%, aligned with deployment cycles that occur every 7–8 weeks.
- Must be able to travel on Sunday evenings to ensure on‑site presence when the deployment site opens on Monday morning.
