The ideal candidate is someone who has a passion for smarter CTV / OTT video activation and is seeking a role with direct impact on the short and long-term success of our clients’ business. We are looking for an experienced, tech-savvy individual who loves advertising and thrives in a fast-paced team environment dedicated to achieving our clients' goals. The person in this role will need to have a deep understanding of programmatic video advertising (both demand-side and supply-side) and ad operations.

 

The candidate will join the team responsible for creating, launching and optimizing CTV / OTT ad campaigns within Simulmedia’s TV® and third-party platforms. The candidate is expected to collaborate with several departments across Simulmedia including sales, client success, finance, product, data science and engineering – to ensure that ad campaigns deliver the desired business outcomes for our clients, and that we continue to differentiate our streaming advertising offerings in the marketplace. In addition to having deep programmatic expertise, the right candidate for this job is a strong individual contributor, extremely detail-oriented, and someone who takes pride in delivering the best possible results for our clients.

 

Responsibilities:

● Oversee the planning, set-up, scheduling, and optimization of programmatic video campaigns across an industry-leading suite of premium publishers;

● Architect operational workflows & playbooks across DSPs & walled gardens;

● Surface overarching learnings to strengthen/enhance our streaming playbook;

● Collaborate with our product, data science and engineering teams to deliver on key client needs (based on market feedback and substantive expertise);

● Ensure client campaigns are meeting their goals by managing campaign pacing and through continuous optimization;

● Collaborate with client- and agency-facing account teams / programmatic buying teams;

● Improve internal workflows to support all aspects of campaign activation / execution;

● Serve as our internal expert in troubleshooting data & technical platform issues with demand side platforms (DSPs), supply side platforms (SSPs), and data management platforms (DMPs);

● Manage issues related to campaign troubleshooting, campaign delivery, data targeting, and/or internal or external reporting; and

● Participate in user testing initiatives for new ad products and feature enhancements

 

 

Qualifications:

 

● 5-6 years of recent programmatic ad ops experience (with an emphasis on buy-side expertise), with a strong track record of successful campaign management;

● Experience working with and across major DSPs (e.g., (Beeswax, Roku OneView, DV360, Xandr, Amazon DSP, etc.), SSPs (e.g., Magnite, Freewheel), DMPs and data providers (e.g., LiveRamp, TruOptik, Transunion, Comscore), and third-party ad servers (Sizmek, Innovid, DCM, etc.);

● Comprehension and experience in building custom audiences and trafficking digital video and other formats, including VAST;

● Must demonstrate professional maturity with strong interpersonal skills in interacting with internal/external senior leaders;

● Experience working in an extremely fast-paced environment with high degree of autonomy;

● Quick learner and detail oriented; possessing critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills;

● Comfort with reporting and using data sets for deeper analysis;

● Expert problem solving and troubleshooting abilities;

● Professional communication skills, both internally and externally;

● Strong collaborator;

● Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)

We're required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances of each case, but a reasonable estimate of the current base range for this role is $90,000 - $110,000. Note that this range is specific to national metro areas and that offers take into account a wide variety of potential factors considered in compensation, including but not limited to skill, qualifications, accomplishments, experience, credentials, and business needs.
