MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (MUST meet minimum qualifications to be considered)

Bachelor degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or 6 years equivalent PC experience.  3+ years in management position.  Proficient knowledge and understanding of CIGMA, WMS, YMS. Operational knowledge of DMMI NPI process, planning processes and packaging development.  


PREFERENCES

Experience with the following:  CIGMA &  Dx/BI tools (DOMO).  Experience with KAIZEN based on Standardized Work, lead time reduction (MIFD), layout improvement and space savings.  Basic knowledge of DMMI's production processes.  Experience with internal and external logistics KAIZEN techniques. Project management.  Process improvement throughout the supply chain.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead PC organization across planning, scheduling, warehousing, logistics, and engineering functions.
  • Oversee development and execution of packaging development & logistics.
  • Oversee development and execution of standard work and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee development and execution of new product introduction throughout the supply chain (MIFD).
  • Develop yearly G&O plans and align teams to achieve company targets.
  • Serve as escalation point for issues in the supply chain to support resolution and countermeasures.
  • Drive inventory strategy, including accuracy, lead time reduction, and obsolescence reduction.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Productivity, Cost) and lead corrective actions based on root cause analysis.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with Mfg, Purch., Sales, Quality Engineering, NAITS/IoT and Logistics.
  • Support and lead Daily Genba Management and problem-solving activities.
  • Present to various levels of management for company events.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job you may be asked to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift or carry component parts weighing up to 35 pounds-lifting parts in excess of 35 pounds with a lift assist, work on the production line for short periods of time, use hands to handle or feel parts, reach with hand and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk and hear, use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, frequent phone use and typing.  The work environment will vary from an open office setting to a production environment.

Skills Required
