THE ROLE:

The Senior Manager of Product Marketing, Growth role is tailored to a business leader with experience in data-driven decision making, running business strategy, driving operational rigor across experimentation and reporting, being the central source of business and marketing growth insights for the company, and inspiring change across leadership teams and core functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supports the cross-functional data collection, narrative creation, and presentation of key recurring business reviews (Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly).
  • Lead the optimization of business results through cross-functional influence, thorough channel evaluation, funnel improvements, driving pricing and feature experimentation strategy, and understanding and optimizing customer journeys from top of the funnel through purchase.
  • Lead the in-market responsibilities for the Marketing org, partnering with company and functional General Managers to identify impactful business opportunities across sports.
  • Establish organizational processes through the development of a cross-functional pod, that oversees ideation of growth experimentation and reporting.
  • Own end-to-end funnel experimentation, across pricing, plan mix, and payment methods. Create testing methodology, success and failure criteria, and result readouts.
  • Consolidate key learnings and best-practices from business experiments and develop presentations to effectively distribute those insights across the marketing organization.
  • Support in the development of the product strategy, and assist in the optimization of the product roadmap and go-to-market plans that aim to grow adoption and new features.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong passion for sports and depth of knowledge in the sports media space.
  • Multidisciplinary background with the ability to think strategically and act quickly.
  • Analytical understanding of the marketing funnel and optimizing critical user journeys.
  • Experience leading marketing operations across business reviews and reporting.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally and managing multiple stakeholders needs.
  • Experience influencing strategic decisions through structured frameworks, data-driven analysis, and clear recommendations that take into account stakeholder dependencies.
  • Experience developing marketing strategies, using quantitative and qualitative insights.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity, making the complex easy to understand and action on.
  • Deep knowledge of core marketing principles, with expertise in Product Marketing.
  • Strong communicator and storyteller.

BONUS POINTS:

  • Professional experience in the sports industry, primarily in sports marketing and media.
  • Experience with experimentation, reporting, BI, and product analytics tools.
  • Experience leading or working closely with go-to-market teams for world-class products, apps and/or services.
  • 5+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, finance, product management, product marketing, or equivalent.
