About the role: 

CHANEL is seeking a Senior Manager, Product Marketing – Core Business to join our Watches & Fine Jewelry (WFJ) Division in New York. This role will lead product marketing strategy and execution for Precious Jewelry & Watches in the US market, driving brand desirability, client engagement, and long-term growth. 

You will be responsible for supporting in defining product positioning, leading go-to-market strategies, and orchestrating 360-degree campaigns across channels. This role requires strong collaboration with Global WFJ teams and cross-functional partners including Retail, CRM, Media, PR, Digital, and Merchandising to ensure consistent and impactful storytelling. 

The ideal candidate brings luxury expertise, strong strategic thinking, and an understanding of the luxury precious jewelry and watch market. 

 

What impact you can create at CHANEL: 

Drive brand awareness, client engagement, and revenue growth for precious jewelry and watches by developing 360-degree marketing strategies, managing product launches, and directing client experiences. 

Strategy & Product Marketing  

  • Define vision, brand positioning, and product marketing strategies for Precious Jewelry and watch collections, including launch packages and campaign orchestration. 
  • Lead Core re-pricing analyses & strategy to ensure product pricing is both globally and locally relevant, and competitively positioned. 

 

Data & Insights 

  • Set and track KPIs to measure the impact of marketing initiatives on business performance. 
  • Analyze orchestration and product performance, identifying opportunities, challenges and business needs and developing insights to inform future orchestrations.  
  • Partner with CRM & Events on post-event sales and performance recaps. 

Client Experience & Events:  

  • Support in the planning, assortment curation, and execution of core events to drive sales and client engagement. 

  • Manage WFJ & Fashion BTQ Coco Crush Engagement Moment events.  

  • Partner with CRM team to align on client event targets that support product and business goals.  

Marketing & Digital Campaigns  

  • Brief and lead the cross-functional development of 360-degree marketing orchestrations across digital, print, and experiential platforms. 

  • Drive omnichannel strategies, integrating physical and digital client experiences to deliver seamless journeys across all CHANEL touchpoints 

  • Brief cross-functional partners on campaign strategy and objectives 

  • Partner with Co-Op Marketing manager to define regional product and campaign priorities.  

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

  • Partner with Global WFJ, Retail, CRM, VIC, Merchandising, Training, Brand Communications, and Sales to ensure cohesive orchestration execution for campaigns and product launches  

  • Collaborate with Fashion and F&B division partners to align retail and campaign communication priorities.  

  • Manage orchestration calendars, Product News, and Quarterly Marketing Newsletters and ensure timely delivery to all channels of distribution, working closely with the cross-functional teams 

  • Lead Morning Meetings in local Fashion & WFJ BTQs 

Operational Management 

  • Oversee budgets, project timelines, and vendor relationships. 

  • Manage Precious Jewelry Special requests 

  • Manage Precious Jewelry and Watch Repricing systematic implantation. 

  • Own pricing systematic implementation 

Competitive Analysis  

  • Analyze competition, market trends and client insights to drive strategic, data-driven decisions 

  • Develop and maintain ongoing competitive price mapping

Position Logistics:

  • Partially Remote: Role requires a minimum of three days in-person office presence at the designated location/office.
  • Luxury product marketing experience, preferably in Watches & Fine Jewelry 
  • High proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • NY office-based role
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as business requires

Compensation:

  • The anticipated base salary range for this position is 87,500 through 130,000. Base salary is one component of the total compensation for this position. Other forms of variable pay will be offered for this position. Other components will include bonus potential, benefits, and/or perks.
