This role is to deploy the annual product plan and to lead the product development process of individual life insurance products from strategic planning to product implementation, with particular focus on medical products, in order to support achievement of the Company’s goals.Job Descriptions:
- Drive and coach the end-to-end product development process to ensure timely delivery of new and/or revamped products as agreed by the Product Steering Committee.
- Work with distribution channels and key stakeholders at local & regional level to develop new and/or revamped products / associated service to support the product proposition that appropriately consider and reflect distribution channel and customer requirement, while balancing the need to achieve company business objectives
- Take a holistic view of the product including proposition development, feasibility assessment and design to ensure a consistent, integrated approach across all functional areas and business needs (e.g. sales, marketing, operations, profitability).
- Conduct regular monitoring on competitor products to competitive positioning of PHKL products to identify opportunities for enhancements.
- Review documentation needed to support new and/or revamped products and deployment (e.g. product specifications, policy contracts, illustration, product approval templates, etc.).
- Identify and drive seasonal or ad hoc projects or promotions in response to market and business need and support ad-hoc projects as assigned
Job Requirements:
- University graduate in any discipline
- At least 8 years relevant work experience in life insurance company with minimum 2 years of supervisory experience within Product Development (ideally in health business)
- In-depth knowledge of life insurance products, especially health business
- Strong analytical and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Able to work independently and as a team player
