Senior Manager Product Management - Biometrics & Digital ID

Summary

As a Senior Manager Product Management team within Airline and Airport Operations, you’re part of an international group dedicated to shaping the future of biometrics and digital identity in travel. Your team will define product strategy, manage roadmaps, and ensure seamless delivery of solutions that enhance security and passenger experience. The team works closely with engineering, business stakeholders and external partners to turn market needs into innovative, scalable products. You will be driving vision and execution to enable frictionless identity verification and smarter travel processes worldwide. Collaboration with airlines, airports, and industry partners is at the core of your mission to deliver trusted, cutting-edge solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Works following the overall department strategy, with limited supervision in a complex environment.

• Accountable for the budget, performance and results of a medium to large-sized team or multiple teams of employees.

• Influences the resource, budget and policy planning and sets concrete development plans for the team members.​

• Develops departmental plans, coordinates allocation of resources and controls policy formation in area of responsibility. Anticipates business issues and challenges for the department to define and resolve complex problems that may impact into the division / function. ​

• Leads and develops high performance product management team, ensuring strategic alignment and thought leadership.

• Drives data-informed decision-making, setting KPIs and evaluating product performance. Oversees stakeholder communication, resource planning, and continuous improvement of product processes.

• Defines product and portfolio vision, roadmap, and priorities based on customer needs and market insights with Product Managers and other relevant stakeholders.

• Collaborates cross-functionally with engineering, design, sales, marketing, product marketing and other relevant departments to deliver successful products.

• Has a mid/long-term vision of the activity and the business, influences the department's strategy based on a broad understanding of the environment.

• Manage segment-specific 3rd party partnerships: requirement definition and prioritisation, coordination of product evolution and other activities with the partner.

The ideal candidate

• Relevant work experience at Product and/or Portfolio and/or Solutions Management.

• Relevant work experience as high-performance team leader.

• Work experience and/or good business context at Airline and/or Airport and/or Border Control.

• Good knowledge on Mobile and Digital Identity market and ecosystem.

• Knowledge of Biometrics, ISO and other relevant standards applied to aviation, travel and relevant technologies, plus corresponding understanding of GDPR and other relevant equivalent legislations.

• Overall product knowledge, such as Product Lifecycle, Product Experimentation frameworks, Product market fit, Product and Portfolio financial performance, B2B and B2C Product Performance KPIs.

• Familiar with the development lifecycle (SAFE Agile/Waterfall), cloud platforms, cybersecurity fundamentals, and relevant product management technologies.

• Fluent English

• Able and willing to travel approximately 25% of the time
