Our work culture emphasizes flexibility, innovation, and strong cross-functional collaboration. We are looking for a Senior Manager, AI Strategy to be part of our newly formed AI Innovation team.
About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
10+ years of experience in data science, applied machine learning, or AI strategy, with at least 3 years in a leadership or strategic role.
Strong understanding of data science workflows, including data preparation, model evaluation, MLOps, and integration into production systems.
Familiarity with LLMs, agents, vector search, and AI platform integration.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without authority.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience with AI governance, responsible AI, or regulatory compliance is a plus.
Advanced degree (PhD or MSc) in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or related) preferred.

What will you be doing in this role?
Partner with LS&H business units (R&D, Commercialisation, MedTech) to identify and shape AI opportunities.
Translate business needs into actionable AI strategies and technical roadmaps.
Collaborate with data science teams to evaluate feasibility and leverage existing models.
Work closely with engineering and architecture teams to guide solution design and integration.
Contribute to the evolution of the Clarivate AI platform in partnership with A&G.
Promote responsible AI practices, including transparency, fairness, and compliance.
Represent the AI Innovation team in strategic discussions with senior stakeholders.
Foster a culture of experimentation, curiosity, and collaboration.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of AI across our Life Sciences & Healthcare (LS&H) business. As part of the newly formed AI Innovation team, you will work across business units to identify, prioritize, and enable high-impact AI use cases—helping us deliver smarter, more scalable solutions to our customers.
This is a strategic leadership role focused on enablement, collaboration, and responsible innovation. You will work closely with engineering, product, data science, and architecture teams, as well as our AI platform team, to ensure AI capabilities are aligned with business goals and integrated effectively across our portfolio.
Hours of work
This is a hybrid position is based at our Barcelona, London or Bangalore office. Working hours will align with the local time zone of your chosen location, but keep in mind that your team will be distributed across the globe!
