The Product Line Lead Pricing at Level 5A will play a strategic role in owning and driving the product roadmap and delivery for key technology initiatives at Hapag-Lloyd Technology Center. The role demands a blend of strong technical acumen, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership. The candidate will lead a team of Product Managers and Requirement Engineers to develop the Hapag-Lloyd pricing Eco-System.
The ideal candidate brings 10–15 years of experience, demonstrating ownership of product vision, heartbeat planning, stakeholder alignment, and successful execution of end-to-end product deliveries in a global environment. This role requires an ability to work across teams, align product outcomes with business goals, and coach teams toward continuous delivery and excellence.
Product Ownership & Strategy
Define and own the product roadmap and product vision aligned with organizational goals.
Drive prioritization through heartbeat planning, value-based delivery, and agile execution.
Act as the voice of the customer and ensure continuous alignment with business stakeholders.
Develop products in collaboration with Product Managers and Business Product Owners
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, QA, architecture, business, and leadership teams in Chennai and Hamburg.
Take part in regular reviews and feedback sessions with stakeholders for different products.
Ensure timely, transparent communication and expectation management across all levels.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Product Delivery & Planning
Drive and track product heartbeat cycles, team capacity planning, and delivery timelines.
Instil the tracking of quality, timely delivery of features, enhancements, and fixes with a continuous improvement mindset in your products.
Oversee FIS3 application development and integration with enterprise systems.
Team & People Management
Manage and mentor product managers and requirement engineers to deliver on product goals.
Handle resource planning, team health, and performance tracking.
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and coaching.
