The Role

About the teamAt Zillow, we’re reimagining how people discover and shop for their next home. Whether they’re weeks, months, or years away from moving, we are here for them. As Senior Manager of Product Design for on our Mover Experience team, you will lead design across a core set of features that power the heart of our customer experience: saved searches, saved homes, co-shopping, and communications (email, push notifications, SEO). These are critical touchpoints that connect people to homes and back to Zillow.
This is a highly collaborative and cross-functional role that bridges on-platform and off-platform customer journeys. You’ll work alongside product, engineering, research, data science, brand, and marketing partners to define how Zillow can engage, re-engage, and inspire customers to take their next step.
There is significant opportunity for growth in this space — both in terms of product impact and leadership. We're looking for someone who can lead through complexity, scale design quality and strategy, and elevate how we work as a team.

  • Collaborate deeply with peer leaders in design, product, engineering, and marketing to align vision and execution across Zillow’s broader ecosystem.

  • Drive clarity in ambiguity — creating structure, setting direction, and advocating for a customer-first experience.

  • Champion accessibility, scalability, and inclusivity in design decisions, systems, and communications.

  • Mentor and grow designers through thoughtful coaching, feedback, and career development.

  • Explore innovative approaches using AI tools by creatively looking at design process and leveraging the latest technologies available.

  • Clear, empathetic communicator with executives, peers, and your team.

  • Attention to detail and an eye for moments of joy in your product design execution.

  • A vision forward thinker with the ability to take a large, bold plan and make it a reality through storytelling, prototyping, and other design artifacts that bring our plans to life.

What We Do

Join our mission to give the people power to unlock life’s next chapter. Our homes are the heartbeat of our lives, and we believe that finding a home shouldn’t be so hard in today’s always-on world. That’s why we’re reimagining the traditional rules of real estate to make it easier than ever to move from one home to the next. Our journey began nearly 15 years ago with a handful of employees and one big idea: to make it radically easier for people to move. We began by helping people understand and track their homes with the Zestimate, our proprietary algorithm, and then with advanced technology and valuable connections with real estate professionals. Today, Zillow has become a household name. People are more likely to search for “Zillow” than “real estate,” and our name is often used as a verb. While other industries have ushered in a new era of convenience, the time for seamless and convenient real estate experience is now. This is our next chapter as a company. We’re looking for smart, passionate adventurers to join us as we reimagine the real estate transaction and change the way people buy, sell, rent and finance their homes.
