As a Senior Manager of Product Analytics at Gong, you will lead and advance the analytics function, driving data-driven decision-making across multiple product groups. Your focus will be on empowering teams through actionable insights that shape our flagship products, while also fostering a strong data-driven culture.
You will be responsible for:
- Product Analytics Development: Elevate and enhance the product analytics function by leading a team of senior product analysts, partnering with groups across Gong to support the entire product lifecycle.
- People Management: Provide guidance and mentorship to senior product analysts, ensuring a meticulous and customer-centric approach to analysis.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Oversee the selection, implementation, and management of analytics tools and methodologies, empowering teams to make data-informed decisions.
- Strategic Vision: Own and define the strategy and roadmap for product analytics, driving cross-product initiatives that contribute to overall product success.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with BI, data, and analytics teams across the organization to ensure a seamless data-driven culture within the Product & Engineering Analytics group.
- Innovation and Execution: Drive forward the development of advanced analytical tools and work processes that scale with business needs, and leverage insights from business data to enhance product features.
You should apply if you have:
- 10+ years of experience in analytics-related roles, ideally in product analytics within SaaS B2B products.
- 3+ years of experience managing analytics teams, with a proven track record of using data to drive product success.
- Expertise in quantitative and qualitative analysis, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights that inform product strategy.
- Hands-on experience with data analytics tools like SQL, Tableau, or similar BI platforms.
- Strong strategic thinking skills, able to identify areas for improvement in product analytics and develop innovative, scalable solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, fostering collaboration across teams and securing stakeholder buy-in for data-driven initiatives.
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business analytics, engineering, operations management, statistics), with an MBA or MS preferred but not required.
