Position Summary

This position directly supports the Strategic Partnership's organization mission to strengthen relationships with our producer partners and support the achievement of Aetna’s growth and retention objectives. The individual in this role will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of administering Aetna’s portfolio of producer incentive programs, including ensuring timeliness/accuracy of program payout, design/standardization of critical operating processes, and developing the team of program administrators. This role will also require the project management of various key initiatives to support decision-making processes and provide insights that helps our senior leaders and sales/AM teams achieve our growth goals.

Fundamental Components

  • Provide operational oversight of program administrators to ensure accuracy and timeliness of payments, including instituting appropriate managerial/reporting tools to monitor program administration
  • Lead team to develop standard operating processes and procedures, share best practices, ensure compliance, while improving accuracy of payment administration
  • Actively identify areas for continuous improvement in program administration and deliver them to execution
  • Support in the intake, vetting, and design of new incentive requests; work with Lead Director and program administrators to ensure new proposed program guidelines are administrable, and design new operating processes as required
  • Partner with reporting team to develop insightful reports and tools to support programs under management
  • Attract, retain, and develop high-performing team of program administrators. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team, addressing, resolving, and communicating complex technical issues in an ever-changing environment

Required Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience related to administration of internal/external health insurance broker incentive programs or compensation programs. Experience developing financial models to determine ROI/effectiveness of incentive programs.
  • 5-7 years of Project Management / Project Consulting experience with a proven track record meeting project dates and deadlines
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience, setting team direction
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Ability to prioritize and strong organization skills.
  • Strong technical ability; Encompasses a forward thinking & inquisitive mind; able to produce recommendations for problem solving and can lead/triage when challenging circumstances arrive

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$82,940.00 - $182,549.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
