Job Responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager Procurement Indirect Services (m/f/x) to join our Magna Corporate Purchasing Europe team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing the commodity strategy for Indirect Services.
The position is based in Sailauf or Munich.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the commodity strategy for Indirect Services, aligned with Magna's overall strategic objectives
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings, risk mitigation, and process optimization
- Prepare request documents and manage the bidding process
- Evaluate offers, lead negotiations, and present results to the sourcing board and management
- Manage contracting processes and supplier relationships for Indirect Services
- Develop, negotiate, and finalize individual and framework agreements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage synergies and deliver optimal outcomes for all stakeholders
- Work closely with European Purchasing teams across Magna Groups and regions
- Enhance existing templates and tools to effectively present projects and savings
- Improve data quality in existing systems
Who We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Several years of proven experience in procurement and sourcing within the automotive industry, with specific expertise in Indirect Services
- Experience in organizing and leading cross-functional teams within a matrix organization
Your Preferred Qualifications
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with a focus on cost reduction and supplier performance
- Expertise in defining and implementing commodity strategies
- Solid understanding of supply chain management principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels
- Independent work style, hands-on mentality, and analytical thinking
- Fluent in both written and spoken German and English; additional languages are a plus
- Proficient in MS Office and SAP
- Willingness to travel as required
