The Senior Manager, Portfolio Marketing will lead strategic brand positioning and portfolio-level marketing, shaping and communicating a compelling value story across internal and external audiences This role is responsible for ensuring cohesive brand strategy, driving cross-portfolio campaign alignment, leveraging data-driven insights, and advancing marketing innovation The ideal candidate brings solid brand leadership, analytical rigor, and cross-functional influence in a highly regulated, fast-paced environment
Primary Responsibilities
- Brand and Portfolio Strategy
- Lead strategic brand positioning by shaping and clearly articulating the value story across internal and external audiences
- Own and evolve cohesive brand messaging and creative strategy, including brand architecture, naming frameworks, and editorial calendar integration
- Drive cross-portfolio campaign strategy, ensuring alignment, prioritization, and synergy across multiple brands and product lines
- Insights, Analytics and Performance
- Deliver brand-level and portfolio-wide insights using data and analytics to inform strategy, optimize campaign performance, and guide learning agendas and budget decisions
- Translate complex data into actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Innovation and Marketing Technology
- Champion marketing innovation by piloting, scaling, and operationalizing new marketing technologies, including AI-driven approaches and modern Martech solutions
- Promote best practices and continuous improvement across portfolio marketing efforts
- Creative and Campaign Execution
- Oversee the creation and execution of creative assets and integrated campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand promise and measurable business impact
- Manage agency partners and internal teams to produce high-quality, high-impact marketing deliverables on time and on budget
- Cross-Functional Leadership and Influence
- Collaborate closely with product marketing, communications, enterprise brand, and other partners to support growth, reputation, and brand consistency
- Influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams to adopt best-in-class marketing practices and embrace innovative solutions
- Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders by combining strategic thinking with operational excellence
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Overall 10+ years of experience with 7+ years of experience in brand marketing, portfolio marketing, or related roles, ideally within healthcare, pharma, or other regulated industries
- Experience leading cross-portfolio or multi-brand campaigns and managing editorial calendars
- Proven expertise in brand strategy, messaging, and creative development
- Proven solid analytical capability, with demonstrated ability to generate actionable insights from complex datasets
- Demonstrated success driving marketing innovation initiatives, including AI or advanced Martech adoption
- Proven outstanding communication skills, including persuasive written, verbal, and presentation abilities
- Proven solid project and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate shifting priorities and timelines
- Proven collaborative team player with a proven ability to build effective professional relationships
