JOB TITLE: Senior Manager, People Performance & Enablement
SALARY: The salary banding for this role is £76,194 - £89,640
LOCATION: Bristol, Halifax, or Leeds
HOURS: 35 hours, full time
Hybrid working style: Required presence at office sites for at least two days weekly.

Working in a highly automated and AI-driven setting, you will demonstrate advanced HR technologies and data analytics to fuel continuous improvement, operational excellence, and outstanding colleague experiences in attendance and performance processes.
Tasked with leading a distributed team comprising approximately 35 operational specialists, to deliver exceptional support for the business in managing performance and attendance cases. This role calls for a combination of strategic, technical, human-centered, and decision-making abilities.
What you'll be doing
Build and refine an operational workforce that demonstrates AI, automation, and new technology to deliver flawless outcomes for our colleagues, ensuring the human focus is never lost.
Lead elements of ambitious transformation initiatives that integrate AI & agentic AI into team processes.
Work with the People Platform and Centers of Excellence to integrate tools and data seamlessly, enhancing them for line managers and other team members.
Grasp the abilities and constraints of process automation and agentic AI tools in the realm of performance and attendance case management.
Build and supervise performance assessments and feedback rotations with CoEs and Product Leaders, applying data-driven analysis to recognize patterns, disparities, and enhancement chances to reach Group performance targets.
Use your external network to bring innovative ideas into the team, encouraging an operational evolution into a future-facing case management capability.
Secure accurate and compliant supervision of employee attendance, leave, and time-off guidelines within Lloyds Banking Group.
Monitor absenteeism trends, providing timely and accurate data insights to People Partnering teams for proactive interventions.
Maintain strict compliance with employment laws and internal policies.
Partner with the operational data team to generate regular insightful reports for senior management on attendance and performance metrics, supporting strategic improvements.

What you’ll needCritical Thinking: Systematically determine the most effective solutions to operational challenges, discussing and prioritising issues with collaborators and customers.
Nurturing Vital Partnerships: Evaluating processes, performance of individuals, and systems to ensure compliance with current frameworks, proposing improvements to enhance business outcomes.
Data Literacy: Develop and apply data and analytics experience to drive effective decision-making and foster a data-driven team.
Non-Monetary/Operational Risk: Explore and assess compliance with frameworks, offering suggestions to address consequences and enhance business results.
Colleague Experience: Innovate solutions to align with the Group’s strategy, prioritizing individuals in project endeavors.
Strategic Leadership: Devise and roll out operational strategies for attendance and performance management with a focus on colleagues and technology, in alignment with Group goals.
