  • Drive operational excellence in the Americas by adapting global processes to regional needs, improving efficiency, mitigating risk, and delivering impactful employee and business outcomes.
  • Embed Flywire’s values and ideals into systems, frameworks, and practices that balance global consistency with compliance to local market and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and develop a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence within the Global People Operations team, ensuring team efforts align with and drive organizational goals.

2. Manager Enablement & Employee Advocacy

  • Serve as a strategic partner to managers, equipping them with actionable insights and tailored resources through structured programs and initiatives, empowering them to lead with impact, build high-performing teams, and foster an inclusive and supportive work environment.
  • Act as a dedicated advocate for employee needs by establishing frameworks and mechanisms for ongoing feedback and engagement, ensuring that these insights guide and refine the People Team’s strategies, programs, and policies.
  • Partner with managers to enhance talent development and team management strategies, ensuring they are in sync with Flywire’s core values, People Manager Philosophy, and organizational growth goals, while driving team effectiveness and engagement.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Strategic Partnership

  • Build and maintain strong partnerships across the People Team Centers of Expertise (COEs) and key global departments (Finance, IT, Legal & Compliance, Risk, etc) to drive effective cross-functional collaboration.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations issues, balancing organizational needs with Flywire’s values and compliance standards.

  • Ensure data-driven storytelling is integral to communicating the People Team’s impact and advocating for continuous enhancement of employee experiences.
