Summary: 

The Sr. Manager, People Analytics, in partnership with the VP of Acquisition, Rewards and Analytics, will lead the design and execution of Curriculum Associate’s people analytics strategy, leveraging data-driven insights to inform talent decisions and enhance employee experience. This role spans from strategic design to execution and delivery. It requires a balance of technical leadership, analytical expertise, business acumen, and strong stakeholder collaboration to successfully drive People Analytics initiatives and deliverables.

Essential duties/responsibilities: 

1. People Analytics Strategy

  • In partnership with VP Acquisition, Rewards and Analytics, Develop and execute a comprehensive people analytics roadmap aligned with business and P&C priorities.
  • Identify key metrics and KPIs to measure organizational health, workforce performance, and talent outcomes.
     

2. Data Analysis & Insights

  • Conduct advanced analyses on workforce trends, including hiring, retention, DEI, performance, and engagement.
  • Create predictive and prescriptive models to address key workforce challenges.
     

3. Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with HR leaders, business leaders, and technology teams to align analytics with organizational goals.
  • Present actionable insights to senior leadership to support data-driven decisions.
     

4. Technology & Tools

  • Drive automation of dashboards and reporting to enhance self-service analytics capabilities.
  • In partnership with IT and Workday Systems team, oversee the implementation and optimization of analytics tools (e.g. Workday, Power BI, AI etc.).
     

5. Data Governance & Quality (in partnership with the HR Systems & IT Team)

  • Ensure the accuracy, security, and compliance of employee data in alignment with company policies.
  • Establish standards for data integrity and governance within the HR ecosystem.
     

6. Team Leadership

  • Based on people analytics roadmap, determine the team resources and capacity needs.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of analysts (if applicable).
  • Foster a culture of innovation, curiosity, and continuous learning within the team.

Skills & Competencies:

System thinker with critical thinking and innovative problem-solving ability. Demonstrated ability in statistical analysis, data mining, and predictive modeling. Strong knowledge of tools like Excel, Power BI, etc. and advanced programming skills (e.g. Python, R, SQL) as well as HCM platforms (preferably Workday). Expert ability to design dashboards and visualization that convey complex insight clearly. Experience with creating self service reporting solutions for stakeholders. Strong business and HR acumen and ability to align analytics projects with strategic HR and organization goals. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations and to present findings to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to navigate and collaborate with multiple stakeholders to develop and execute on project deliverables. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.

Required Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, HR, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 7+ years in data analytics roles, with a focus on workforce or organizational data. Experience leading people analytics team preferred.

Travel: Less than twice per month

Working Environment: Standard office environment, accommodations can be made as necessary.
