Job Purpose

The Senior Manager of Partner Solutions will be responsible for responding to client-specific opportunities and needs for both new and existing business. This role will manage and grow the sales pipeline, understanding key client targets while managing the renewal process with the sales organization. They will need to serve as an internal advocate for customer needs to ensure broad awareness of, and empathy for, customer pain points.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Lead and collaborate with sales teams and internal stakeholders to develop and implement cross-platform Request for Proposal (RFP) responses in a timely and efficient manner
  • Sr. Manager will be expected to execute every tier of sponsorship, including high-level, multi-platform partnerships that successfully meet and exceed client KPIs and are connected to our IP/talent/brand
  • Work closely with sales leadership on packaging strategy for large scale sponsorship offerings
  • Assist Senior Director in solving business and process issues
  • Work to identify areas of growth where BBC can expand reach, relevance, and revenue among our target client-set
  • Create compelling unique sponsorships and content marketing opportunities aligned with company priorities driving efficiencies across content and product offerings
  • Continually optimize marketing materials based on research, editorial input, sales, and client feedback to meet evolving industry trends to ensure differentiation and competitiveness
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects at any one time and with minimal direction
  • Work with internal stakeholders to create and manage timelines
  • Develop, maintain and strengthen relationships with clients and their agencies, as well as with all key internal stakeholders including editorial, content, analytics, product marketing
  • Manage client and media agency partners through renewal phase
  • Provide support on special projects and events as needed
  • Serve as an internal advocate for client needs
  • Accountable for the performance and results of a team or project team

Knowledge, Skills, Training & Experience

  • 6+ years of integrated marketing experience (such as advertising agency, media sales/marketing, client-side marketing) with prior management experience of at least 4 years
  • Collaborative team player with strong stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated self-starter with leadership and project management skills, but the self- awareness necessary to understand when/where to ask for help and guidance
  • Proven ability to think creatively and strategically while navigating difficult and complex issues in a large, highly matrixed, dynamic corporate setting.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills (able to create and deliver presentations to senior management)
  • Ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities simultaneously in a changing environment
  • Requires the ability to influence others to accept practices, approaches and recommendations
  • Experience with problem solving for process issues
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail
  • Prior management experience
  • Experience processing and responding to client RFPs ad creating new sponsorship opportunities through Editorial content
  • Candidate must possess maturity, professionalism, and poise under pressure, and have proven experience interacting with top-level, business executives, as the position requires direct contact with senior sales management, key clients and talent, and is a brand representative in the marketplace.

Compensation

The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $140,000 to $160,000. This range does not include bonus compensation or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and geographic location of the position.

This range is not inclusive of a competitive bonus, flexible, hybrid working schedule & benefits including but not limited to: 100% BBCS covered medical & dental insurance, vision, & 401k match.
