We are looking for a high-impact
Senior Manager, Organizational Effectiveness & Transformation
to join KONE’s (E&T) team.
This is a strategic problem-solving role for someone who can combine structured program leadership, analytical thinking and senior stakeholder influence to help People & Communications (P&C) deliver measurable business value, accelerate transformation execution and build the organizational capabilities KONE needs for the future.
Success in this role is not measured by activity, meetings or materials. It is measured by clear decisions, visible business impact disciplined execution and adoption globally. Your short-term focus will be on strategic P&C transformation priorities, while also supporting integration readiness, people insights and selected E&T priorities that require strong program leadership, senior stakeholder alignment and follow-through.
This role is for someone energized by complexity, high expectations and visible impact: a strategic program solver who brings structure, challenges constructively and turns ambiguous transformation topics into measurable progress.
This role is located in Espoo, Finland, with flexibility for another location within a European time zone.
This role reports to the SVP, Organizational Effectiveness & Transformation.
What you will deliver
Translate P&C transformation priorities into decision ready project plans with clear scope, outcomes, milestones, owners, risks, dependencies, KPIs and business value.
Drive selected E&T and P&C transformation programs from planning to execution, adoption, benefit tracking and impact review: turning operating model choices, capability shifts and governance decisions into plans that reduce duplication, release capacity and clarify ownership.
Support possible KONE-TKE integration-related P&C planning by building integrated plans across workstreams, surfacing interdependencies, clarifying people and organization implications, tracking risks and ensuring disciplined execution.
Facilitate selected P&C LT meetings, workshops and working sessions so each session results in clear choices, decisions, owners and next actions.
Prepare decision-ready executive materials, agendas, pre-reads and proposals to support the EVP and SVP in P&C, P&C LT and other senior forums so leaders can make faster, better and more evidence-based decisions.
Build simple, meaningful scorecards to track transformation progress, value realization, risks, decisions and adoption, translating data into executive insight and practical actions.
Build stakeholder alignment across P&C and business stakeholders in a way that reduces rework, accelerates implementation and improves adoption.
How success will be measured
Key E&T priority projects have clear scope, outcomes, governance, timelines, owners, risks, dependencies and KPIs within agreed timeframes.
Strategic P&C transformation workstreams progress against agreed milestones, with visible capacity release, reduced duplication, clearer ownership and improved execution discipline.
P&C LT and other senior forums result in clear decisions, documented owners, timely follow-up and improved decision quality.
Transformation outcomes are evidenced through cycle time reduction, productivity improvement, efficiency gains, adoption, stakeholder satisfaction, quality of decisions and capability uplift.
Scorecards and progress reporting provide leaders with clear visibility on transformation status, value realization, risks, decision needs and actions required.
Integration-related P&C planning has visible interdependencies, risks, decision needs, people and organization implications and measurable progress across agreed workstreams.
What we’re looking for
Strong track record in strategic problem solving, transformation management, management consulting or complex business change in an international, fast-moving environment, with evidence of delivering measurable business impact.
Proven ability to turn ambiguous, strategic topics into clear plans, decision ready options, practical deliverables, accountable owners and visible progress.
Experience from management consulting and/or people, HR or P&C transformation is highly valued, ideally combined with exposure to operating model development, strategy implementation, integration planning or large-scale business transformation.
Excellent facilitation skills, with the courage and judgment to lead senior stakeholder discussions, clarify choices, surface trade-offs, challenge constructively and drive committed decisions.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence through trust, logic, collaboration, high-quality preparation and fact based recommendations.
Ability to drive progress in a matrix environment where ownership is distributed, priorities require alignment and results depend on influence rather than formal authority.
Understanding of people processes, business partnering, shared services, people analytics, strategic workforce planning, organization design, change management, leadership forum governance or integration execution.
Strong analytical mindset and ability to use data, business cases, KPIs, milestones, workforce insights and evidence to improve prioritization, decisions and execution quality.
Comfortable using AI and digital tools to improve productivity, quality of insights, executive communication and program transparency, with a practical understanding of how automation and digital ways of working can simplify P&C work, reduce manual effort and release capacity for higher-value activities.
High standards for quality, accountability and pace, with a strong bias for execution and the ability to distinguish between activity and real value creation.
Comfort operating in high-ambiguity, high-visibility and time-critical situations where priorities may change and strong judgment is required.
