Your Next Career Opportunity – Senior Manager, Operations – Connectivity Solutions
Responsible for overseeing daily business activities, improving overall business functions, and managing operational strategies to drive efficiency and productivity. This role involves coordinating with various teams, ensuring compliance with company policies, and optimizing workflow to achieve operational goals. This role involves supporting the Connectivity Solutions business in building seamless operational processes and procedures to scale the business.

What You Will Do – Primary Responsibilities

Operational Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service delivery.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to track performance and ensure targets are met.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices to optimize business operations.

Team Leadership & People Management

  • Lead and mentor operations teams, ensuring high levels of performance and engagement.
  • Foster a positive work culture, promoting teamwork, collaboration, and professional development.
  • Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.

Process & Performance Optimization

  • Streamline workflows and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, compliance regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and operational challenges.

Budget & Resource Management

  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.
  • Oversee procurement, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations to optimize operational costs.
  • Monitor financial performance, identifying areas for cost savings and revenue growth.

Stakeholder & Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with senior management to align operational objectives with business goals.
  • Collaborate with Network Operations, M&A, Construction, and Finance, and other departments to support operational needs.
  • Oversee large scale construction projects like Master Planned Development communities and any special projects that requires active participation.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of business processes.

Compliance, Risk Management & Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Identify potential risks, implement mitigation strategies, and maintain a risk management framework.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for executive leadership on operational performance and key initiatives.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Work with Talent Acquisition to recruit, interview, select, hire, and employ a talented and diverse group of high-performing team members.
  • Provide oversight and direction to team members in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members, including overseeing new team member onboarding and providing career development planning and growth opportunities.
  • Empower team members to take ownership of their job and goals. Delegate responsibilities as needed and provide routine constructive feedback on performance.
  • Create a culture that is consistent with the organization's focus on team member engagement, and that aligns with the organization's mission, vision, and values.
  • Lead team members using a performance management and development-focused approach to assist in goal setting, two-way feedback, and performance development planning.
  • Lead team members to meet the organization's expectations for productivity, quality, and goal accomplishment.

What You’ll Need – Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
    • 10+ years of experience in construction and operations management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, performance metrics, and reporting tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
