The Senior Manager of the North America Sustainability Promotion (NASP) department will lead the organization’s efforts to achieve carbon neutrality and promote sustainable practices across North America. This role is responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives, overseeing stakeholder engagement, and ensuring compliance with sustainability standards. The Senior Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in sustainability performance and foster a culture of environmental responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute the NASP mission to guide North America towards carbon neutrality by implementing sustainable initiatives.
- Lead the creation and implementation of a comprehensive roadmap for achieving DENSO’s carbon neutrality targets, ensuring alignment with corporate sustainability goals.
- Team Management:
- Oversee the performance and development of the NASP team, including mentoring and coaching team members to enhance their skills and effectiveness.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment that encourages engagement and accountability.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, industry organizations, and regulatory bodies, to promote sustainability initiatives.
- Drive initiatives to increase awareness and adoption of sustainability practices across DENSO’s production sites.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of sustainability metrics, including carbon emissions, energy consumption, and other key performance indicators.
- Ensure that reporting processes meet internal and external requirements, providing transparency and accountability in sustainability efforts.
- Governance and Compliance:
