About the RoleAs Senior Manager - Monetisation, you will leading the charter to increase ad revenue from Brands on Meesho as Meesho Mall scales up rapidly across categories. This role will involve identifying key problems of brands and driving product builds and brand engagement team to solve these in a 10x way.
You will be directly responsible for setting a vision for the team, building a roadmap to achieve this vision, driving initiatives in collaboration with product, data science and analytics and be accountable for the revenue from this charter.
The role reports into the Head of Monetisation and involves strong collaboration with Meesho Mall Category Team.
What You’ll Do
Long term Strategy / roadmap: Develop and drive projects that contribute to the strategic roadmap for Monetisation and specifically ads. These projects help bring outside-in perspective into the strategic planning of the vertical. Some of these include, but are not limited to: Building new user targeting capabilities for brands, building new ad formats etc.
Functional strategy and implementation Projects: Identify and create projects to generate 10X revenue impact within Meesho. Own and deliver strategic projects which are structural and long-term in nature for the company.
Moonshot Revenue projects: These projects are to create new and adjacent business models /opportunities to Meeshos core business. These projects will deliver the next S-curve for Meesho. This will involve:- Identifying new opportunity areas and revenue models- Opportunity sizing of various models- Designing and creating pilots and eventually MVPs of new revenue areas.
Team building/coaching: Build an outstanding team of managers and analysts in the ads business.- Build leverage by grooming and coaching them to be future monetisation leaders at Meesho
What you will need
- 2-4years of total work experience. At least 2+ year of experience in consulting firms
- Experience in startups/tech companies in similar roles will be an advantage
- Proven problem-solving and project management skills
- Proven leadership and organizational skills
- An MBA degree will be preferable
