Our Senior Manager, MarketPoint Sales motivates and drives a team of Medicare Sales Field Agents who sell individual health plan products and educate beneficiaries on our services in a field setting. Our teams also sell Life, Annuity, Indemnity, Dental, Vision, Prescription plans, and more.

The Senior Manager, MarketPoint Sales will supervise Medicare Sales Field Agents dedicated to the growth of The Villages Health plan. They will sell the portfolio of products offered to the Medicare population in The Villages. In this role you be responsible for leading a team of 5-10 career sales agents to achieve sales/membership growth targets for your team’s aligned territory. Additional responsibilities will include: providing ongoing training to ensure product, compliance, sales processes and branding opportunities; monitoring sales results and trends; developing and tracking administrative and marketing budgets for the team; engaging with value-based providers and working with provider engagement and contracting teams to promote provider engagement with Humana and ensuring compliance and marketing guidelines associated with Medicare regulations are adhered to.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Florida Health insurance license
  • 2+ years of Medicare sales or other related sales experience
  • Prior experience with proficiency in MS Office products, various CRM platforms, and various iPhone app capabilities
  • Prior experience in public speaking and conducting presentations
  • Community Engagement/Grassroots experience in marketing Medicare plans or other health plans in the community
  • This role is part of Humana's Driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits
  • Must reside within the territory which includes: Lake, Marion or Sumter County

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Prior experience leading a team of sales associates and train them in successful sales techniques, educational presentation skills, utilizing technology tools as well as building relationships with communities and medical providers
  • Prior experience in the health solutions industry
  • Prior experience with medical, life insurance and dental product positioning
  • Bilingual in both English and an additional language with the ability to speak, read and write without limitations or assistance 

Additional Information

  • This position will be responsible for a team of agents that will sell only in The Villages community and will work out of the office located at 4110 E SR 44

  • Any Humana associate who speaks with a member in a language other than English must take a language proficiency assessment, provided by an outside vendor, to ensure competency. Applicants will be required to take the Interagency Language Rating (ILR) test as provided by the Federal Government.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$77,000 - $105,100 per year


 

This job is eligible for a commission incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
