The Role

The Panel Engagement Manager contributes research support across a broad portfolio of market insights research engagements, balancing independent project execution with strategic panel development initiatives. This role is responsible for coordinating the recruitment of research participants—including payers, market access decision makers, KOLs, and healthcare providers—for assigned studies, while ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, operational processes, and compliance requirements. Working closely with research teams, the manager ensures the successful delivery of high quality recruitment across a range of qualitative and quantitative methodologies.

In addition to project based responsibilities, the Panel Engagement Manager plays a central role in shaping and expanding Red Nucleus’s proprietary panel of US and exUS (e.g., EU) payer and market access decisionmakers. This includes contributing to long-term panel strategy, enhancing panel quality, and driving sustainable growth.

The role collaborates closely with analysts, consultants, vice presidents, and cross functional stakeholders across Red Nucleus to ensure both project excellence and panel building success.

Responsibilities

Project Management:

  • Lead and manage participant recruitment across multiple qualitative and quantitative market research projects, ensuring high-quality execution and adherence to study objectives.
  • Partner closely with researchers to understand project scope and requirements, translating research needs into effective recruitment strategies.
  • Oversee all project documentation and panel communications, including sample exports, invitations, confirmations, schedules, advisor agreements, and screening materials.
  • Collaborate with analysts to draft, program, and test screeners that align with research objectives and target profiles.
  • Develop and manage sample universes based on quota design and feasibility considerations.
  • Review screener data to identify and select the most qualified participants, ensuring the delivery of high quality insights.
  • Maintain clear, proactive communication with internal teams and external clients on recruitment progress, scheduling, and logistics.
  • Monitor fieldwork performance to ensure quotas and timelines are met on time while anticipating and resolving recruitment challenges.
  • Commission and manage third party vendors, ensuring alignment with recruitment plans, quality standards, and data collection requirements.
  • Oversee out-of-pocket expense management, including timely submission of honoraria and vendor invoices.
  • Coordinate with event planning teams and external venues to support onsite advisory boards, focus groups, and other research engagements.
  • Ensure all recruitment and participant contracting activities comply with applicable Sunshine Laws, data privacy regulations, and fair market value honoraria requirements.
  • Support the Senior Director in developing operational protocols and best practices for project execution and panel engagement.
  • Provide additional logistical support for Red Nucleus’s research initiatives as needed.

Panel Development:

  • Partner with the Senior Director to grow Red Nucleus’s proprietary panel strategy, ensuring the recruitment, growth, and quality of payer and market access decisionmaker panels align with long-term business and organizational goals.
  • Participate in developing targeted prospect lists through social media outreach, referral networks, digital marketing initiatives, and other tailored engagement channels.
  • Uphold high panel quality by regularly validating active panel members and ensuring all essential data fields are complete, accurate, and maintained within the panel database.
  • Strengthen long-term panel relationships by delivering an exceptional member experience, characterized by responsive communication, high quality interactions, and thoughtful engagement across all panel touchpoints.
  • Assist with tracking panel growth and member satisfaction metrics.

Requirements

Skills and Abilities:

  • Highly effective working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, creative environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Rigorous attention to detail and accuracy
  • Understanding of in-house shared services, processes, and standards
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Understanding of the market research industry – including quantitative and qualitative research
