Be the strategic partner to secure timely patients access, appropriate funding and sufficient reimbursement to Edwards’ Breakthrough Implantable Devices (BID) and solutions
Purpose of the role
Be the strategic partner for Business Units to enable and improve market access of innovative therapeutic solutions for Structural Heart Disease and advanced critical care technologies to simplify decision-making in the hospital environment.
How you'll make an impact:
• Develop and plan market access projects and activities with accountability for successful completion of all project deliverables
• Pro-actively lead and work seamlessly with Business Units on Market Access Projects include creating new therapeutic/device charge code, obtaining fair Value recognition and rewarding reimbursement approval to enable and improve access of BID for SHD to simplify decision-making in the hospital environment
• Select and manage consultant s when required for specific expertise
• Develop local market access opportunities in Strategic Accounts in collaboration with the BU team
• Provide direction and guidance to external project teams to execute tactical market access projects and/or initiatives. Participate on internal product launch teams
• Identify and evaluate market access process improvement and/or course correction/course alignment opportunities
• Actively participate in industry work groups (in particular SNITEM) to represent Edwards interests. influence policy formulation and implementation whenever appropriate
• Build and maintain good relationship with KOLs and Healthcare related authorities
• Other incidental duties
What you'll need:
- Scientific background (PharmD, MD, Engineering, …) required 
- Additional education in Health Economics, Business, Political Sciences, or Communications preferred 
- 8-10 years proven experience in Public Affairs including a significative experience in Market Access positions within the French healthcare environment 
- Solid experience in multinational pharmaceutical or medical device companies or as a consultant for these kind of companies required 
- Appetite for or knowledge of clinical trial methodology expected 
- Demonstrated expertise in pricing and reimbursement processes highly preferred 
- Perfect command of French, including excellent written communication skills, required 
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) required 
- Remote position possible with occasional travel required (less than 15% annually)

• Proven successful project management skills
• Proven expertise in both Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Power Point systems
• Strong communication and influencing skills, able to work in a matrix environment and to work with Authorities/officials.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English required
• Recognized as an expert in government (particularly healthcare) policies with specialized depth within the organization
• Ability to build good relationships both internally (BU partners, PA teams, Country Leadership Team, …) and externally with KOLs (medical, health-economists, other) and Healthcare related authorities
• Expert understanding of related aspects of pricing & reimbursement processes
• Expert understanding of local healthcare system and political environment
• Detail oriented
• Capacity to deliver impactful communications through a balanced analytical and creative approach to complex technical matters
• Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
• Ability to represent leadership on projects within a specific area interfacing with project managers and cross functional teams
• Ability to consult in project implementation within the Market Access team
• Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., HCP Policy Compliance, Data Privacy Rules , pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
