LGC’s Clinical Diagnostics Division develops and manufactures a comprehensive portfolio of catalog and custom-developed diagnostic quality solutions and component materials for the extended life sciences industry. We partner with IVD assay developers, and pharmaceutical, CRO and academic institutions in commercialization activities across the entire diagnostic pipeline - from concept and early stage research, through expedited product development and onwards into routine clinical use. Job Description

The Senior Manager, Logistics role at LGC offers an outstanding chance to build the future of logistics operations in Milford, MA, and Gaithersburg, MD. As an integral member of our Logistics Leadership team, you will have the opportunity to lead and refine logistics, warehousing, and inventory operations. Your efforts will guarantee the smooth movement, storage, and availability of goods, maintaining excellent service levels to both internal and external customers. Collaborating closely with the Director of Logistics, you will advance process alignment, operational efficiency, and cross-functional project advancement across the D&G Business Unit. This is a highly ambitious position where your demonstrated ability to compete and successfully implement strategies will be crucial to our success!

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience in people management and leading a team.
  • Minimum of 5 years of direct working experience
  • Established skill in advancing performance.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of supply chain and logistics principles.
  • Strong familiarity with warehouse management practices and procedures.
  • Multi-site logistics leadership experience.
  • Direct industry experience

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • SAP experience.

Additional Information

The customary salary range for this position is:

Minimum pay rate: $112,000 USD annually

Maximum pay rate: $168, 000 USD annually

The salary range provided covers the minimum and maximum amounts projected for this role. The base salary will be influenced by factors like experience, skills, and location.
