The Role:
The Senior Manager of Lifecycle Marketing will lead the strategy, development, and optimization of subscriber lifecycle journeys that deepen engagement, strengthen retention, and drive acquisition and revenue across A+E Global Media's DTC products. This role will oversee the roadmap for customer communications across acquisition, onboarding, engagement, retention, and reactivation touchpoints, ensuring every moment in the customer journey builds meaningful, measurable value.
WHAT YOU WILL DO: Senior Manager of Lifecycle Marketing
- Define and oversee A+E’s end-to-end lifecycle and loyalty strategies across email, app, and web—balancing business goals with meaningful, fan-centric experiences.
- Own email governance, defining best practices for audience management, frequency, deliverability, and channel orchestration to ensure scalable, compliant, and high-performing communications.
- Partner with Analytics, Product, and MarTech teams to build personalization strategies that deliver the right message, creative, and offer to the right viewer at the right moment.
- Lead a test-and-learn agenda across lifecycle journeys, continuously evolving segmentation, messaging, and offer strategies to drive incremental growth and engagement.
- Establish clear success metrics and measurement frameworks. Turn data into actionable insights that shape future strategy and investment.
- Manage and coach a direct report.oe or more Set clear goals, support development, and foster a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Stay ahead of lifecycle, CRM, and loyalty marketing trends, emerging technologies, and competitive best practices within media and entertainment. Identify new ways to strengthen audience relationships and elevate performance.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS: Senior Manager of Lifecycle Marketing
- Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field is preferred. Candidates with equivalent experience will be considered.
- 6–8+ years of relevant experience in lifecycle marketing, personalization, CRM, or loyalty strategy
- A proven track record of building and scaling multi-channel lifecycle programs that deliver measurable audience and business impact. Subscription experience is a plus.
- Deep expertise in segmentation, personalization, and experimentation methodologies.
- Strong analytical instincts with the ability to build compelling data-driven narratives.
- Clear, confident communication and presentation skills.
- Experience partnering cross-functionally with analytics, creative, product, and BI teams.
- Demonstrated success managing one or more colleagues and helping to develop high-performing teams.
- Familiarity with Iterable, Hightouch, and/or similar enterprise CRM platforms is a plus.
