SALARY:  $100,000 - $112,500, bonus and long-term incentive eligible

ROLE SUMMARY:  
Elevate your career in Morgantown, the energetic home of WVU Mountaineers, where business and sports culture collide! The Key Account Manager will manage and grow relationships with six Small Format chains (three of which are the largest independent Small Format Chains in the Great Lakes Region) totaling 2.4 million case equivalents of volume. This position is a fast-paced, high-impact, relationship-driven opportunity which will report directly into the Retail Sales Director and requires industry awareness, competitive pricing knowledge, and execution excellence. Building strong retailer partnerships is the key to driving Anheuser-Busch sales objectives across volume, share, distribution, assortment, and merchandising. Success in this opportunity comes through strategic communication, in-person meetings, and exclusive entertainment opportunities with WVU Athletics, trade shows, and retailer outings. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Grow A-B sales & share with key chain account(s).

  • Manages program specific special projects.

  • Coordinates and/or supervises the activities of personnel involved in the development and implementation of special projects.

  • Assesses departmental priorities and objectives and makes action recommendations

  • Performs call point and program specific analysis.

  • Provide total account management; sell-in corporate programs and brand promotions.

  • Utilize sales tools (Power BI, Eagle Eye, CIRCANA, Shelf Set, etc.)

  • Foster relationships with A-BI field sales and wholesaler personnel, and maintain active communications.

  • Evaluate strategies and action plans against allocated budget; manage budgets

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor's Degree required (emphasis in Business, Sales, and/or Marketing is strongly desired).

  • Basic knowledge of retail initiatives (particularly Category Management and information-based selling).

  • Advanced computer software proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Internet).

  • High level of expertise in analyzing information and making information based recommendations.

  • Strong familiarity with syndicated data, software and measures is preferred.

  • Effective Communications/Presenting, follow-up, administrative and organizational skills.

  • 3- 5 years field and retail sales experience in the beverage industry or other consumer products industries.

  • Ability to work and drive positive results in a fast-paced, team environment.

  • Driven to deliver results against stretch targets.

  • Understanding of key sales metrics: Price, Promotion, retail ads and display execution
