Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Manager, IT Strategy and Transformation to join our growing team! In this role, you will be responsible for driving the development and execution of IT strategies that align with the organization's business goals. You will be involved leading transformation initiatives, optimizing IT processes, and ensuring that technology investments deliver measurable business value. In this position, you will work closely with senior leadership, business units, and IT teams to foster innovation and improve operational efficiency through strategic planning and change management. You will be required to be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in leading complex IT initiatives, managing cross-functional teams, and delivering impactful results. 

As a Senior Manager, IT Strategy and Transformation, your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Planning and Initiatives: Develop and execute IT strategies and roadmaps that align with the company’s overall business goals and objectives. Identify opportunities for leveraging technology to drive growth and efficiency. 
  • Transformation Leadership: Lead and manage large-scale IT transformation projects and ensure alignment with strategic goals and oversee project execution from planning to delivery. 
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with IT, Product, Business, and other key departments to ensure seamless integration and execution of program initiatives. Facilitate cross-functional team alignment and communication. 
  • Financial Analysis: Support strategic initiatives and negotiations with financial analysis and scenario modeling 
  • Executive and Internal Communications: Develop and support regular IT updates to executive teams. Work closely with Corporate Communications to develop internal and external updates on IT initiatives 
  • Change Management: Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new technologies and processes. Provide guidance and support to teams during transitions. 
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of IT strategies and transformation efforts. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management. 
  • Organizational and Culture: Support initiatives to improve organizational effectiveness, culture, ways of working, and related efforts. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of IT professionals. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment. 
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with IT projects and strategies. Develop mitigation plans and ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations 
  • Innovation and Trends: Stay abreast of emerging technology trends and industry best practices. Evaluate new technologies and solutions that could enhance business performance and recommend innovative approaches. 

Qualifications

WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field 
  • 6+ years of experience in IT management or management consulting, with a focus on strategy and transformation. Proven track record in leading large-scale IT projects and managing cross-functional teams. 
  • Strong understanding of IT strategy development, digital transformation, and change management
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of IT industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in IT strategy and transformation
