Position Description:
Provides analysis on complex, cross-functional product and systems initiatives within a matrix organization, supporting the transformation of the Alternative Investments platform into a modern digital experience. Gathers and documents business requirements, performs ongoing requirements analysis, and ensures clarity on the business rationale and value of planned work. Supports current state analysis, defines technology solutions in partnership with engineering, and contributes to test case preparation with the quality assurance team. Reads and analyzes code and logs for defect and incident triaging and root cause assessment. Coordinates minimum viable product definition and refinement of the product backlog. Articulates end-to-end system, operational, and financial workflows. Applies Agile methodology and uses Jira and Jira Align for planning and execution. Consults with business partners to develop data driven recommendations that address complex business needs and advance the product strategy.
Primary Responsibilities:
Analyzes technology needs, customer requirements, and system and workflow challenges across Alternative Investments and related brokerage capabilities.
Performs enterprise-level system and product analysis efforts that require sophisticated under-standing of data, operations, and technology design.
Conducts interviews and working sessions with business partners to gather and validate requirements with clear articulation of business value and acceptance criteria.
Develops data-based recommendations that address difficult and complex business needs and opportunities, incorporating strategic objectives and customer insights.
Defines full project and product analysis plans for complex initiatives, including scoping, current-state assessment, and evaluation of future-state solution options.
Designs system and workflow solutions based on functional and non-functional requirements while collaborating closely with engineering partners.
Supports the definition of test strategies and contributes to user acceptance testing preparation and execution.
Communicates progress, risks, and dependencies across multiple initiatives and engages stakeholders regularly to ensure shared understanding of priorities and outcomes.
Contributes to the evolution of standards and best practices for business analysis, product requirements, and workflow documentation.
Participates in incident and crisis evaluation to assess business impact, determine potential workarounds, and support production stability efforts.
Advises on risk considerations and contributes to risk assessment activities related to product and system enhancements.
Provides subject-matter expertise and guidance on systems analysis techniques, product workflows, and brokerage operations without formal supervisory responsibilities.
Performs independent and complex analysis across multiple initiatives while collaborating with engineering to support roadmap alignment, prioritization, and cross functional execution.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and five (5) years of experience as a Senior Manager, IT Product Management (or closely related occupation) designing, developing, implementing, and integrating corporate actions applications according to Agile methodologies.
Or, alternatively, Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Manager, IT Product Management (or closely related occupation) designing, developing, implementing, and integrating corporate actions applications according to Agile methodologies.

Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) managing the delivery of corporate actions modernization, which includes the processing of dividends, redemptions, voluntaries, mandatories, and proxy events to the next generation platform, using Jira and Jira Align; and developing technology roadmaps and strategy, using Miro, Agile project methodologies, and Scrum@scale.
DE analyzing and translating software system requirements using Customer Information Control System (CICS), Common Business-Oriented Language (COBOL), Job Control language (JCL), and Virtual Storage Access Method (VSAM); developing system specifications, creating workflow diagrams, and designing next generation corporate action systems, using Draw.io or Microsoft Visio, and Confluence; creating contract first approach based RESTful APIs using swagger; and performing production rollout of high-scale systems using AWS cloud services and REST API.
DE writing SQL queries to extract data from large data sets within Oracle and DB2, using Oracle SQL developer and IBM Data Studio; writing stored procedures to insert and maintain data, using SQL and PLSQL database queries; and performing system analysis and designing business reports solutions, using Power BI and Datadog.
DE supporting enterprise-level initiatives for mainframe modernization to Cloud technologies using AWS cloud services, including AWS Lambda, Simple Storage Service (S3), DynamoDB, autoscaling, and EC2; building pipelines for Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment (CI/CD) using terraform and segments; validating RESTful APIs using Postman or Insomnia; per-forming functional automated testing using Cucumber or Jest; and providing technical support to a product portfolio using ServiceNow.
Salary: $150,550.00 to $181,000.00/year.
