Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced IT Senior Manager to lead Disaster Recovery (DR) capabilities while driving infrastructure-related initiatives, cloud optimization programs, and lifecycle management (EOL/EOS) across the technology landscape. This role requires a blend of strategic planning, technical expertise, and program leadership to enhance resilience, optimize costs, and ensure platform sustainability.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

IT Disaster Recovery Management:

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve IT Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies and frameworks to align with regulatory requirements, working closely with the relevant stakeholders, both Infra and Application team.
  • Define and maintain Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) aligned with business requirements based on the BIA Assessment from BCM team.
  • Plan and execute DR drills, testing, and simulation exercises to validate recovery readiness
  • Identify gaps, risks, and dependencies in recovery capabilities and drive remediation initiatives
  • Ensure DR documentation, runbooks, and governance processes are maintained and up to date

Infrastructure Project Management:

  • Lead and drive infrastructure-related projects (e.g., data center, network, platform modernization, resiliency enhancements)
  • Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies
  • Manage cross-functional stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams to ensure successful delivery
  • Monitor project risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely resolution
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security standards, and governance policies

Cloud Optimization:

  • Drive cloud optimization initiatives across cost, performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Establish governance and best practices for cloud resource utilization and cost management
  • Analyse cloud usage patterns and identify opportunities for rightsizing, reservation models, and automation
  • Collaborate with application teams to improve cloud architecture efficiency and resilience
  • Track and report key metrics (cost savings, utilization efficiency, performance improvements)

EOL/EOS Lifecycle Management:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive view of technology assets reaching End-of-Life (EOL) and End-of-Support (EOS)
  • Plan and drive refresh, upgrade, or decommissioning initiatives
  • Ensure timely remediation of technology risks associated with unsupported platforms
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to define upgrade roadmaps and funding requirements
  • Integrate lifecycle management into overall technology strategy and governance frameworks

JOB SPECIFICATION: 

  • 8–12+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud, or platform roles
  • Strong understanding of DR concepts: RTO, RPO, backup/recovery, high availability, failover strategies
  • Strong experience managing infrastructure or transformation projects
  • Experience managing EOL/EOS lifecycle programs and technology refresh initiatives
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
