Operating with broad influence across both business and IT, the Senior Manager provides leadership in prioritizing initiatives, clarifying requirements, and guiding stakeholders through solution options. The role is accountable for driving alignment, ensuring successful execution of Commercial-focused IT initiatives, and promoting adoption of new capabilities. While the position does not have direct reports, it provides indirect leadership to cross-functional teams, project resources, and external partners to ensure outcomes meet business expectations.
*This position requires working onsite in Lake Zurich, IL 3+ days per week.
• Salary Range: $150,000-170,000.
• Position is eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan with a target of 14% of the base salary.
• Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

- Serve as the primary strategic interface between Commercial business teams, functional stakeholders, IT technical resources, and support teams.
- Partner with IT capability owners and solution architects to ensure Commercial objectives align with technology roadmaps, enterprise architecture, and long-term strategic direction.
- Represent the “voice of the customer” by ensuring both functional and non-functional requirements are captured, validated, and reflected in proposed solutions.
- Contribute to business case development—including scope, ROI, benefits, risks, and resource estimates—to support effective decision-making.
- Partner closely with IT delivery teams to ensure smooth and transparent execution of global and local initiatives.
- Establish and track program KPIs, adoption metrics, and outcomes to confirm that business value is achieved and sustained.
- Monitor risks, issues, and scope, partnering with delivery teams to define mitigation plans and ensure timely resolution.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., MBA, PMP) are a plus.
- 8+ years of experience in IT, business analysis, or technology-enabled business functions, with exposure to commercial or enterprise applications strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success building strong relationships with business leaders and influencing decisions across cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to translate complex business needs into clear technology requirements and guide solution design and delivery.
- Experience leading medium-to-large initiatives involving cross-functional stakeholders, with working knowledge of governance, prioritization, and portfolio management processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess business outcomes, measure adoption, and validate value delivery of IT initiatives.
