This role will build and lead this function at PlaySimple Games and will be someone who can own the relationship between the company and the investor community and help tell the PlaySimple story at the highest level. This role will be based in Bangalore, India and will report to the Chief Financial Officer.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead all Investor Engagement & Communication-related activities:
o Develop and execute a comprehensive investor relations strategy aligned with the long-term vision.
o Will serve as the primary point of contact for institutional investors, analysts, and other similar stakeholders.
o Will play an active role in organizing investor meetings and earnings calls.
o Contribute to the creation of investor messaging that is integrated with and consistent with the company’s strategic goals.
• Financial Storytelling & Market Positioning:
o Articulate the company’s financial performance, strategic initiatives, and growth outlook effectively to the investor fraternity.
o Lead the data support and validation process for the IR team’s earnings materials.
o Support all aspects of the earnings preparation process, including earnings release and script drafting, interaction with internal teams in obtaining data and content, Q&A, and drafting, in collaboration with finance and strategy teams.
• Continuously gather market intelligence & feedback:
o Monitor market trends, competitor performance, and investor sentiment to provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
o Gather and analyse investor feedback to refine messaging and improve engagement with the larger community.
o Prepare timely reports for senior leadership, including analyses of stock performance, peer benchmarking, analyst research and investor interactions
Requirements
• At least 7+ years in investor relations, investment banking, buyside investing, or equity research, with meaningful time in B2C internet organizations or gaming tech organisations.
• The incumbent will know the financial metrics institutional investors care about and can build the model and explain it in a room full of VCs or analysts.
• Should have built and maintained investor relationships across complex cap tables and navigated sophisticated, multi-party stakeholder dynamics.
• Should be able to write and speak with clarity and precision. Should be able to distil complex strategy and financials into narratives that land with sophisticated audiences.
• Should have an established network across institutional investors, VC, and/or investment banking, particularly in B2C tech and / Online gaming.
• Should be able to operate well with autonomy. A self-starter who takes ownership, moves fast, and holds a high bar for their own work.
Skills Required
- CFA, CA, or MBA from a top-tier management institute
- At least 7 years of experience in investor relations, investment banking, buyside investing, or equity research
- Meaningful experience in B2C internet or gaming technology organizations
- Knowledge of financial metrics relevant to institutional investors and ability to build and explain financial models
- Experience building and maintaining investor relationships across complex cap tables and managing sophisticated, multi-party stakeholders
- Clear and precise written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to distill complex strategy and financial information into compelling narratives
- Established network across institutional investors, venture capital, and/or investment banking, particularly in B2C technology or online gaming
- Ability to work autonomously, take ownership, move quickly, and maintain high-quality standards
