About the Role:
As Senior Manager – Investor Relations & Strategic Finance, you will play a critical role in shaping Meesho's financial narrative for investors, leadership, and external stakeholders. You will partner closely with senior leadership on investor communication, IPO readiness, board engagement, market intelligence, and strategic planning initiatives. This role requires a strong blend of financial storytelling, analytical rigor, capital markets understanding, and business acumen. You will help translate business performance into compelling insights for investors while also supporting company-wide strategic and financial planning processes.
What You Will Do:
- Investor Relations & Strategic Communication
- Support the preparation of investor presentations, board materials, shareholder updates, and other strategic communication documents.
- Partner with leadership, PR, legal, compliance, and controllership teams on external financial communication and IPO readiness initiatives.
- Assist in managing investor and stakeholder queries with accurate, timely, and insight-driven responses.
- Conduct research on investor expectations, market sentiment, industry trends, and peer performance to support leadership decision-making.
- Benchmark peer companies' financial performance, valuation trends, and investor communication practices to identify strategic opportunities and best practices.
- Help shape and articulate Meesho's equity story through data-backed insights and strategic analysis.
- Strategic Finance & FP&A
- Develop and analyze financial models to support strategic initiatives, capital allocation, and long-term company planning.
- Drive company-level annual operating plans, quarterly forecasts, and management reporting processes.
- Conduct variance analysis to evaluate business performance against budgets and forecasts, highlighting key business drivers and risks.
- Support executive leadership through KPI dashboards, business performance reviews, and strategic insights.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with business, finance, and operational teams to drive financial discipline and decision-making.
What You Will Need
- Chartered Accountant (CA), MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification.
- 5–8 years of experience across Investor Relations, Strategic Finance, FP&A, or Business Finance.
- Prior experience in high-growth startups, consumer internet, investment banking, consulting, or listed company IR environments is preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation concepts, and capital markets.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong storytelling ability with comfort in presenting insights to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
Skills Required
