The Role
We are seeking an International Markets Digital Readiness Team (IM DRT) Manager. This role will report to the Interim Digital Readiness Team Lead and sit within the Customer Experience and Engagement team within the Pfizer Digital organization.
The Digital Readiness Team (DRT) is a partner for colleagues to co-create Pfizer-first digital innovation projects together with a broad team of SMEs, for advice and guidance on managing customer-facing digital solutions. This area is highly complex with many different interpretations of guidance and multiple distinct country regulatory environments to take into account. DRT helps colleagues to navigate these processes by bringing together cross-functional key stakeholder SMEs with decision-making authority (Digital, Medical, Legal, Biopharma Quality, etc.) into one group to enable streamlined execution of new external facing, digital initiatives, and digital upgrades.
The International Markets DRT Lead will directly contribute to moving digital initiatives forward faster at Pfizer, while interacting with Senior Leadership, digitally forward project teams, and the DRT Agency of Record (AOR). This role will ensure aligned and consistent guidance to support project teams in digital acceleration in the ex-US markets, reduce duplication of effort, and clarify what Pfizer believes the right, compliant approach is with these new capabilities. As we explore new media and new platforms, we must ensure our regulatory/compliance processes keep pace with digital innovation while maintaining our commitment to zero compliance issues.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Chair International DRT meetings focused on offering roadmaps to navigate all necessary risk mitigation advice for first in Pfizer digital innovation
  • Manage International Markets DRT meetings schedule (full DRT (IDM/EM) meetings, focused DRT meetings, intake meetings, ad-hoc meetings) including agenda development, coordinating action items and follow-ups, facilitating review by DRT members, and circulating minutes to project teams
  • Manage key stakeholders in the frame of projects submitted for the International Markets DRT review, interacting with DRT members and project teams, acts as a backup for Global DRT lead as needed
  • Prepare for the weekly DRT team meeting, managing and prioritizing all team activities
  • Provide support to key stakeholders. Exercise sound judgment in anticipating priorities and potential conflicts to ensure DRT deadlines are met and team members are prepared, informed, and engaged to facilitate efficient discussions
  • Ensure DRT post-meeting deliverables are developed and endorsed by DRT SMEs and distributed to key stakeholders
  • Lead the development, preparation, and communication of IM DRT metrics and other KPIs to key stakeholders
  • Track digital channel and marketing trends and identify implications for Pfizer marketing practices. Advise DRT SMEs on key elements of functionality as it relates to concept reviews and relevant topics
  • Manage International Markets DRT intake process and provide DRT Consultation as needed to project teams - answering questions about DRT processes and escalating appropriately as needed
  • Lead on International Markets DRT enhancement projects as required to support the continuous improvement of the operating model focusing on internal customer engagement
  • Manage relationships with key internal and external partners, especially country level contacts, in support of IM DRT business engagement
  • Engage with U.S. DRT to communicate International Markets priorities and keep communication open between two regions
  • Engage in the wider CX&E ecosystem to support DRT priorities through workstreams and internal promotion
  • Support IM Manager in guideline development as needed, sourcing SME feedback, engaging with key stakeholders, and providing feedback
  • Support DRT Newsletter development as needed by assisting team members in sourcing article topics, and engaging with marketers/project owners to review and approve articles
  • Support record keeping, filing, and achieving information in accordance with company procedures and requirements
  • Support DRT communication processes, e.g., maintain mailboxes, templates, automated mailing solutions, distribution lists, etc.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.
  • 7+ years' work experience in quality and compliance related roles; including 2+ years' experience working in pharma related digital compliance, and 3+ years' experience at country organization.
  • Previous healthcare or pharmaceutical experience required
  • Superior written and verbal skills in English language
  • Skilled in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience utilizing digital content, social media for brand initiatives, and best practices for social and paid media
  • Fluency in digital tactics, social media, and key channels (e.g. mobile, website); understanding of the broader digital landscape including new and emerging channels, keeping up with new trends and key updates to the major platforms
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at once, ensuring seamless, consistent communication of highly confidential materials
  • Demonstrated knowledge of legal, regulatory and compliance requirements and in-country approval processes
  • Proven track record of leading projects and leading teams that successfully achieve milestones and deliverables
  • Exceptional attention to detail, along with exceptional organizational skills
  • Comfortable quickly adapting to new organizational cultures
  • Demonstrate resourcefulness with proven ability to anticipate needs, prioritize responsibilities, manage multiple priorities with tight timelines, and take initiative
  • Ability to work well both in a team environment as well as operate independently with minimal supervision
  • Must have the ability and professional demeanor to interface with senior management, international colleagues, and important external stakeholders and must be able to exhibit good judgment in handling highly sensitive, confidential information
  • Adaptable, realistic, practical, and agile
  • Knowledge of Pfizer organization processes and procedures preferred
