Summary of the role
Your primary role as Senior Manager, Information Systems, SAP – FICO (m/f/d) is to manage talent, processes, projects, stakeholders. The role will also have functional ownership of the FICO area in SAP.

Role and Responsibilities
Managing talent includes:
Attract, develop, and lead a world-class IT Enterprise applications organization; develop a team culture of innovation, collaboration, and ongoing improvement.
Monitor resource capacity and demand to ensure optimal resource utilization and project staffing.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment where experimentation, learning, and adaptation are encouraged.
Set clear goals and objectives for the team and provide guidance for their professional development.
Managing projects and IS delivery includes:
Collaborate with PMO and COE to deliver project objectives, timelines, prioritization, and implementation plans, ensuring cost effective, quality, and timely delivery of high-quality IT solutions.
Provide expert functional knowledge in the FICO and other areas of SAP
Excellent understanding of Finance business requirements
Ensure the project management system is timely and consistently updated to reflect project statuses
Responsible for the assignment of projects, project tasks, support desk tickets within functional area
Ensure integration with other functional areas and work well with other teams
Functional Ownership means:
Ensuring a functional baseline is established for the FICO area
Is self driven to have current knowledge of SAP innovations with new functionality in S4
Have an understanding of the capabilities of SAP's tools and knowledge what the software can and cannot do
Drive implementation of standard processes while meeting customer needs
Have a mindset of continuous improvement and simplification when designing, reviewing, and approving solution approaches
Assist Information Systems leadership in development and execution of an SAP roadmap
The candidate must have an expert understanding of the functional or technical area assigned and a good understanding of the interrelationships with other functional areas, and strive to keep current on new technology development.
Have a good understanding of the End-to-End processes flows involving FICO, with great cross-functional understanding
Prepare and present regular status reports and dashboards to executive leadership, providing insights into project status, risks & issues, trends, and identified opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business needs, priorities, and expectations. Support development of business cases and project charters.
Ensure strategic alignment through prioritization, resource capacity management, key result tracking and program management to achieve strategic vision.
Skills and Qualifications
Experience in the FICO module in SAP ECC and S4.
Was part of at least one successful migration from SAP ECC to SAP S4.
A Bachelor Degree in Information Science, Finance, Math, Engineering or other technical / business field is required.
Minimum of 10-12 years of Information Systems experience with 8 years business. applications experience required or the demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements.
Minimum of 5 years experience managing an SAP FICO team.
Project management skills are preferred. Strong understanding of international financial requirements.
Travel
Less than 25%.
