Position Summary:
The Senior Manager, Influencer and Creator Marketing will play a pivotal role in driving Samsung's creator and influencer marketing initiatives across all lines of business (LOBs). This role focuses on building and nurturing relationships with creators, influencers, and ambassadors to amplify Samsung's brand presence and engagement. The Senior Manager will oversee four core programs: influencer marketing, paid creator campaigns, non-paid ambassador initiatives, and affiliate influencers. This role will also collaborate closely with the social media agency and internal teams to ensure seamless integration of creator strategies into broader social marketing efforts.

Role and Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Paid Influencer Marketing (30%)

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive influencer marketing strategy aligned with Samsung's global brand vision and business goals.

  • Lead the end-to-end execution of influencer campaigns, including talent selection, content creation, and performance tracking.

  • Collaborate with the influencer/creator agency to ensure seamless integration of campaigns across all LOBs and platforms.

  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and optimize campaign strategies for maximum impact.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with high-impact influencers who align with Samsung's brand ethos and target audiences.

Paid Creator Campaigns (30%)

  • Lead the strategy and execution of paid creator campaigns, ensuring alignment with campaign objectives and brand guidelines.

  • Collaborate with the influencer/creator agency to manage budgets, timelines, and deliverables.

  • Analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights to optimize future initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in paid creator campaigns.

Non-Paid Ambassador Initiatives (20%)

  • Design and implement non-paid ambassador programs to build long-term relationships with brand advocates.

  • Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and engagement of ambassadors to ensure alignment with Samsung's brand values.

  • Develop content guidelines and support materials to empower ambassadors to create authentic and impactful content.

  • Monitor ambassador performance and provide feedback to ensure program success.

Affiliate Influencers (20%)

  • Manage and oversee affiliate influencer partnerships to drive sales on Samsung.ca, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and marketing strategies.

  • Identify, recruit, and collaborate with affiliate influencers to create compelling content that promotes Samsung products and drives conversions.

  • Monitor and analyze influencer performance metrics, including sales commissions, engagement rates, and ROI, to optimize campaign effectiveness.

  • Develop and implement content strategies that align with Samsung's brand identity, ensuring high-quality, authentic, and engaging posts.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with affiliate influencers, providing support, feedback, and resources to enhance their success and loyalty.

Performance Analysis & Reporting (Across All Programs)

  • Develop and maintain a creator dashboard to measure and evaluate the effectiveness of all creator programs across all LOBs.

  • Leverage data-driven insights to refine strategies, improve campaign performance, and demonstrate ROI to stakeholders.

  • Present campaign results and recommendations to senior leadership, providing actionable insights for future initiatives.

Agency Leadership & Collaboration

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the influencer/creator agency, ensuring alignment on objectives, timelines, and deliverables.

  • Lead agency reviews and approvals of creator IDs, contracts, and campaign briefs.

  • Collaborate with the social media agency to integrate creator content into broader social media strategies.

  • Ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency in agency partnerships.

Skills and Qualifications

Requirements

 Education:

  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Journalism, PR or related field preferred.

 

Knowledge:

  • Expert knowledge of popular social media channels including Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, Facebook, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.

  • Demonstrated understanding of social media best practices and tools.

  • Digitally savvy, understands how social fits into a broader 360° campaign.

  • Incredible attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

  • Demonstrated resilience in managing competing priorities/programs.

  • Very strong writing and communication skills.

  • Knowledge of social media analytics and reporting.

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong presentation skills, ability to host video content as needed.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work cross-divisionally and functionally and balance the interests of multiple stakeholders.

  • Passion for technology and consumer electronics.

 

Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in influencer marketing, creator strategy, or social media marketing for a top-tier consumer brand or specialized agency.

  • Proven track record of managing large-scale creator campaigns across multiple LOBs and platforms.

  • Experience leading agency partnerships and driving cross-functional collaboration.

  • Demonstrated success in building and scaling creator programs that drive measurable business outcomes.

  • Active presence on social media platforms with a strong personal brand.

Certifications (Preferred):

  • Meta Blueprint Certification

  • Hootsuite Social Marketing Certification

  • YouTube Creator Academy

  • Google Analytics Certification

The salary range for this role is expected to be between $107,000 to $147,000 and reflects base salary only. Actual pay will be determined based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, competencies, qualifications, relevant skills and experience.

The total rewards package for a Regular Full-Time employee may include a variable incentive, savings matching (RRSP/TFSA/NRSP), extended health and dental benefits with spending accounts, wellness and well-being benefits, development opportunities, and other employee perks.
