About the Role: 

The Senior Manager of Implementation oversees the successful delivery of complex client onboarding and implementation initiatives. This role manages a team of implementation specialists and managers, ensures operational excellence, and partners closely with cross-functional leaders to deliver high-quality solutions that meet client needs. The Senior Manager provides strategic direction, drives process improvements, and ensures that implementation projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational standards.

Compensation: ​$135,000 to $166,000 base
 
Key Responsibilities: 

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, develop, and mentor a team of implementation managers, specialists, and project leads
  • Set performance goals and ensure the team has the tools, skills, and support needed for success
  • Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and escalation support for complex or high-risk implementations

Implementation Oversight

  • Oversee multiple concurrent client implementations across different levels of complexity
  • Ensure consistent application of implementation methodologies, templates, and best practices
  • Monitor project status, resource allocation, and team workload, proactively addressing risks and bottlenecks
  • Serve as an escalation point for clients and internal stakeholders

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong relationships with enterprise clients, acting as a senior-level advisor throughout the implementation process
  • Partner with Sales, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Operations to ensure alignment on client requirements and project deliverables
  • Facilitate executive updates and communicate progress, risks, and mitigation strategies

Operational Excellence & Process Improvement

  • Evaluate and refine implementation processes to increase efficiency, quality, and scalability
  • Develop documentation, playbooks, and training materials to support team consistency
  • Track KPIs such as time-to-value, implementation timelines, client satisfaction, and team utilization
  • Analyze project data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives

Strategic Planning

  • Contribute to departmental strategy, resource planning, and organizational growth initiatives
  • Provide insight into client needs and market trends to inform product roadmap and service enhancements
  • Support cross-functional planning to improve delivery capacity and client outcomes
 
Required Qualifications: 
 

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience

4–6+ years of experience in implementation, project management, client onboarding, or a related field

3–5+ years of people management experience, leading implementation or project teams

Proven track record managing large-scale, complex, multi-workstream projects

Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., ServiceDesk Plus, Jira, Smartsheet, Trello, MS Project)

 
Preferred Qualifications: 
 

Experience in SaaS, technology, healthcare, fintech, or professional services

PMP, CSM, Prosci, or other project/change management certifications

Experience with technical integrations, APIs, SSO, and data migration

Background in scaling teams or building new implementation frameworks
