ROLE OVERVIEW
LifeStance Health is seeking a high-potential, detail-oriented, and hands-on Senior Manager of HRIS with substantial leadership and project management expertise to join our dynamic People Solutions team. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our HRIS strategy. In this role, you will provide both functional and technical project support, serving as the authority on the day-to-day operations of our people systems. You will lead the successful execution of critical processes, technologies, and new initiatives that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the employee experience.
COMPENSATION: $110,000 - 130,000/annually
This position is fully remote and can be performed anywhere within the United States.
RESPONSIBILITIES
HRIS Strategy and Leadership:
- Lead optimization projects for the company’s Workday environment, driving improvements in efficiency and effectiveness across HR processes.
- Provide leadership and direction to the HRIS team, ensuring alignment with business needs and strategic goals.
- Manage the day-to-day support, new developments, enhancements, maintenance, and testing across Workday and all people systems.
Project Management and Implementation:
- Assist in the enforcement of project deadlines and schedules, ensuring successful execution of HRIS initiatives.
- Support Workday functionality and enhancements, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the business.
- Coordinate across HR to implement updates, new features, and changes to the HRIS environment.
- Support change management processes, including testing activities, deployment, and migration of configuration changes.
System Optimization and Automation:
- Identify opportunities for automation and reduction of manual processes across the HRIS function, in line with the HRIS roadmap and leadership goals.
- Partner with stakeholders such as Payroll, Compensation, Finance, IT, and other internal teams to provide support and solutions to business needs that drive process improvements and automation.
Compliance and Data Integrity:
- Keep up to date on Workday and other HR system enhancements, regulatory changes, state, local & global requirements, and new releases that could benefit the organization.
- Ensure systems are compliant with regulatory requirements, including state, local, and global regulations.
- Conduct internal audits to monitor and maintain data quality and integrity across HR systems.
Documentation and Process Management:
- Create and maintain HRIS policies, processes, and procedural documentation to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Provide training and support to HR team members and other stakeholders on HRIS processes and best practices.
- Continuously improve HRIS processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and user experience.
Leadership:
- Build, develop and lead a team of high performing HRIS Analysts.
- Manage the day-to-day relationship and workflow with a Workday AMS partner
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or equivalent field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Workday implementation, configuration, and support, with a focus on HCM and other relevant modules.
- 1+ year of experience in a supervisory capacity leading a team of HRIS analysts.
- Proven expertise in configuring and customizing Workday solutions to meet complex business requirements.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices, with the ability to translate them into scalable Workday configurations.
- Proven track record of successfully leading complex improvement projects with measurable results in operational efficiency, cost reduction, or customer satisfaction.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
