Senior Manager for Higher Education Technical Consulting will be responsible for ensuring the successful production support (post-go live) for Workday. Consultants in this role should be comfortable navigating basic Workday Security and building custom reports. This role will actively contribute to the development of ERPA’s Workday AMS practice and should showcase innovation, strategic thinking and have the drive to make ERPA a Workday partner of choice.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Act as a lead consultant on multiple client engagements
  • Understand client business requirements and provide guidance throughout design, configure and prototype, and assist clients with testing and move to Production efforts
  • Support client during monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities
  • Troubleshoot day-to-day issues and provide issue resolution
  • Partner with Engagement Managers to keep them informed of project status, changes, etc.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional counterparts to ensure clear lines of communication and project alignment
  • Accurately maintain forecast in a timely manner
  • Assist Sales team with orals, demos, and LOEs
  • Stay up to date on industry knowledge, Workday enhancements, and be able to advise on Workday best practices
  • Provide exceptional customer service to build lasting relationships with clients

Experience/Skills Requirements:

  • 5+ years Workday functional implementation experience
  • Previous AMS/Production Support experience preferred
  • Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, SalesForce, ZenDesk, etc.
  • Workday Partner Certification in one or more of the following areas required:
    • Integrations
    • Workday Student
    • Studio
  • Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of student security processes, ensuring compliance with institutional and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and audit trails for all student security configurations, access controls, and related activities.
  • Provide strategic direction and oversight for all data conversion activities associated with implementation projects.
  • Establish and maintain standardized processes, validation protocols, and quality assurance measures to ensure accuracy and integrity of converted data.
  • Identify and implement innovative tools and methodologies that improve conversion efficiency and minimize project risk.
  • Manage all processes related to Tenant builds, configuration and data governance, and change control.
  • Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of student reporting, including requirements gathering, report development, validation, and delivery.
  • Maintain standardized processes and governance frameworks to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance across all reporting outputs.
  • Experience gathering business requirements, leading design sessions, configuring, testing, and move to Production activities
  • Demonstrate strong, agile communication and presentation skills in order to adapt to various audiences
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Exceptional customer service
