As Turo Canada’s lead Growth marketer, you'll own Turo's conversion engine across Canada—building the systems, strategies, and experiments that transform visitors into customers and customers into repeat users.
You'll live at the intersection of data and growth, managing paid channels, optimizing funnels, and coordinating cross-channel efforts to maximize every conversion opportunity. From scaling Meta campaigns to perfecting landing pages to launching retention programs—you'll ensure every dollar spent drives measurable results.
This is a hands-on role where you'll build and lead a growth team while getting deep into the metrics that matter: conversion rates, ROAS, LTV, and repeat bookings. You're someone who thrives on testing, iterating, and finding the growth levers that actually move the needle. You think holistically and connect the dots between channels inorder to effectively drive conversion and revenue across the funnel.
What you’ll do:Own the growth marketing roadmap and KPIs for Canada from traffic to booking.
Partner with leadership to align on strategic goals and budget allocation.
Develop quarterly growth strategies incorporating performance marketing, content, SEO, LCM, and promotional campaigns.
Manage our paid media agency to scale performance across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, OTA and other paid channels. You’ll get your hands dirty and dive into on-platform campaign management too.
Partner with global teams to deliver performance across Google, Apple and Microsoft Search (Paid) and ASO/SEO (Free).
Accountable for overall spend, bookings and ROAS.
Map ideal customer journeys and build segmented content funnels to meet customers where they are in their buying journey.
Monitor and report on conversion rates across the funnel to improve performance at critical stages.
Partner with lifecycle and CRM teams to improve guest retention and repeat usage.
Launch and monitor growth focused marketing programs like referral programs, seasonal campaigns, and reviews.
Support launches, seasonal initiatives, and full-funnel campaign execution.
Build and manage a robust experimentation pipeline across CRO, landing pages, and creative testing.
Work closely with global teams to define compelling messaging across the funnel.
Build and coach a high-performing brand marketing team while fostering a collaborative culture.
Partner with internal/external and global cross-functional teams, including CRM, SEO, Brand, Creative Studio, Product, and Data to execute acquisition plans.
7+ years of experience in full-funnel growth marketing, acquisition marketing or similar role.
2+ years managing a team. You’re a team player and bridge builder at your core.
Deep hands on experience running paid ad programs at scale, including SEM and social ads.
Experience with SEO, CRO, LCM.
Proven experience improving building a B2C marketing engine and optimizing conversion across the funnel.
Data maven: You eat and breathe data and are a master at turning that data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication, presentation skills, and executive presence.
Proficient in GA4 and BI tools as well as Excel, Google Docs, Sheets, Slide
Deep experience with CRM platforms and extracting data from email marketing automation tools.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
High-growth startup experience is a plus.
Deep experience running SEO and LCM programs.
Proficiency in SQL.
App marketing experience.
Experience scaling marketing programs in the travel industry.
Experience & understanding of tech-enabled marketplaces.
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (business/marketing).
For this role, the target base salary range in Toronto is $120,000 - $140,000 CAD annually. This role is also eligible for equity and benefits. In general, our ranges reflect the market-based target for new hire salaries based on the level and location of the role. Within the range, individual pay is determined by objective factors assessed during the application and interview process, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Turists will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
