The senior manager group consolidation is a global finance role within the Group Consolidation team. The role serves as a finance specialist, working with the global consolidation team to deliver monthly consolidated financial results for external and management reporting purposes, while also supporting projects required to meet reporting compliance requirements. By consolidating financial data, the role ensures that accurate and reliable information is provided to the business to support performance management and decision-making. As part of a team of accounting professionals, the role contributes to maintaining high-quality financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:Support monthly IFRS group closing and reporting activities to ensure accurate and high-quality consolidated reporting.
Maintain group consolidation entries during the monthly close process.
Perform reconciliations in specific accounting areas, including leases, pensions, and share-based compensation.
Support Group Finance and accounting-related projects.
Support reporting requirements, audit activities, and statutory audit follow-up actions.
Manage the Sandoz Finance & Legal database and central controls/compliance databases.
Maintain audit trails, internal control processes, and key control documentation and testing.
Act as the main contact for legal entities on financial reporting and consolidation matters, while ensuring the completeness and accuracy of the Sandoz consolidation scope.
What you’ll bring to the role:
Essential Requirements:
University degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
CPA or equivalent professional qualification is highly desirable.
4-5 years of audit experience, preferably with a Big Four firm.
Fluent English, both written and spoken.
Strong knowledge and practical experience of IFRS accounting.
Methodical, accurate, and detail-oriented approach to work.
Excellent analytical skills with strong conceptual thinking abilities.
Strong sense of responsibility and accountability, with proactive problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
