About the Role
Reporting to Director of Group CIO Office candidate will work closely with Group Investment, AIA AMCs, and Business Unit Investment teams on the continuous delivery of the rolling, overarching AIA Investment Operating Model of the Group CIO in support of AIA’s corporate strategy.Roles and Responsibilities:
The ongoing development and continuous delivery of the rolling, overarching AIA Investment Operating Model in a manner that facilitates prioritization, monitoring and tracking of progress identification of interdependencies and risks, under the auspices of the Group CIO in support of AIA’s corporate strategy..
Designing, setting and continuously delivering the metrics to measure success of the AIA Investment Operating Model as a whole (as distinct from the metrics and key performance indicators of Investment Outcomes) in support of the Group CIO.
The management of projects and initiatives, as required from time to time, in support of changes to the AIA Investment Operating Model.
Designing and administering the frameworks to facilitate oversight of all external relationships of a material and strategic nature by the Group CIO, including substantive contribution to such oversight. the company Secretary of the Group Investment Management Strategic Relationship Oversight Working Group and the Strategic Investment Sub-Committee of the Group Investment Committee.
Supporting the Group Investment Performance Committee secretariat, supporting the Group CIO’s interface with the Group CE.
The production of presentation materials, in support of the Group CIO, for presentations to the Group ExCo and Group Board.
Other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by the Director of Group CIO Office and Group CIO to meet operational and/or other requirements.
Minimum Job Requirements:
At least 10 years of related experience, either with an Asset Owner or Asset Manager.
Good understanding of the investment process and asset classes.
Good command of written and spoken English. Chinese advantageous.
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving, influencing and advocacy skills.
Independent and strong self-initiative and decision-making capability.
