We are seeking a motivated professional for a 16 month fixed-term parental leave substitution as Senior Manager, Group Accounting. You will take ownership of key group accounting areas within our statutory monthly reporting cycle, ensuring high-quality and timely financial close processes.

Where you’ll be

This role is based at our Headquarters in Espoo, Finland.

What you'll be doing
  • Lead assigned Group Accounting areas throughout the monthly statutory reporting and close cycle.

  • Own monthly close activities, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, financial controls, and reporting pack preparation.

  • Strengthen internal controls, enhance process documentation, and drive continuous process improvement initiatives.

  • Manage and coordinate Group audit activities, working closely with internal teams and external auditors.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors on Group consolidation and statutory reporting matters.

What you’ll bring to the role
  • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

  • Extensive experience in group accounting, financial consolidation, and statutory reporting.

  • Strong track record of managing financial close processes with excellent problem-solving and execution skills.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems, financial reporting platforms, and consolidation tools.

  • Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities.

  • Strong understanding of internal controls, governance, documentation, and continuous process improvement.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
