Job Description Summary:

We plan to build several greenfield sites around the world with state-of-the-art capabilities that will be operated by high-performing teams. We are looking for a warehouse readiness leader who will play a critical role in assuring equipment, system and people readiness at the site. . This person will also drive the vertical startup strategy for warehousing in CPS, by developing and implementing a robust testing, training and acceptance blueprint for warehousing equipment and processes. The ideal candidate has a strong background in warehousing operations, Industry 4.0 technologies, and startup environments, and has the ability to influence dispersed teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive operational readiness for new warehousing startups within CPS Greenfield projects.   Develop acceptance and testing plans in coordination with suppliers, IT, and operations site leaders.   Collaborate with suppliers to ensure training and capabilities building for both operations and technical teams at the site.
  • Provide input into the design of each greenfield site to ensure that equipment, materials, people systems, and work processes align with the operational strategy. This includes close partnerships with equipment suppliers, equipment platform teams, and operational teams.
  • Incorporate best practices from existing CPS operations, develop process flows integrating Lean and TPM, establish SOPs, and ensure cross-functional alignment.
  • Establish skills matrices and training standards for the new warehousing equipment and platforms in partnership with other stakeholders. Facilitate onboarding and training between vendors and site operations leaders.
  • Partner with greenfield site startup leaders to enable them to execute a readiness-based vertical startup approach for warehousing.  This includes supporting creating IP, OQ, and PQ protocols that support system UAT and performance testing.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, engineering and site leaders to create standards, documentation, and spare parts strategy to ensure TPM readiness for new equipment and operations.

This person will foster a culture of innovation and collaboration, working across internal and external partners, including engineering, and operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Business Administration
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse operations.
  • Experience in new warehousing startups, or major project startups. Experience in greenfield projects is an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of warehousing processes, operational excellence, and Industry 4.0 technologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, multicultural environment across different time zones.

Location: Atlanta, Ballina, Singapore or other central locations. 

Travel: 25%-50%

Pay Range:

$114,000 - $139,000

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
