Our Transcatheter Mitral and Tricuspid Therapies (TMTT) business unit is boldly pursuing an innovative portfolio of technologies to address a patient’s unmet clinical needs. Our Senior Manager, TTVR Strategy position is a unique career opportunity dedicated to our TTVR therapy team while sitting within the TMTT Strategy & Business Unit Operations organization reporting to the Director of Global TTVR Strategy. The ideal person for this role will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of business strategies and special initiatives. The Senior Manager will have the primary responsibility to develop actionable business intelligence, drive global strategic decisions, and build strategic adoption capabilities, that all advance our long-term therapy ecosystem strategy.

The key external audience for this role are customers, heart teams, site-level administrators, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and our growing Healthcare Provider (HCP) community. The key internal audience for this role is the TMTT BU Leadership Team, TTVR therapy Leadership Team, Senior TMTT leadership across the globe, global strategy partners across Edwards, and deliverables that will update the CEO and the Edwards’ Executive Leadership Team.

Work Schedule: Given the collaborative and complex nature of this work, this role is in person full time in Irvine, CA.

How you’ll make an impact:
• Drive TTVR strategic performance management and business intelligence with connected analytics, insights, key performance indicators, and reporting

• Develop comprehensive external investment strategy and internal governance on strategic business enablers across the care pathway

• Leverage insights and market knowledge for executive decision support and to develop presentations, high-quality data visualizations, or other tools to facilitate communication of findings, strategic insights, recommendations to internal and external stakeholders

• Drive strategy articulation/activation, enhance connectivity between functions/regions to align on a shared plan, and partner collaborative with the team to enhance ways of working and provide diversity of thought

• Develop and plan the implementation of in-depth reviews, similar to management consulting engagements, of key business issues

• Drive strategy execution and deliver solutions to the business by leading the design and delivery of key strategic initiatives and  executive special projects that solve critical challenges and fortify strategy
• Play an instrumental role in the strategic framing of TTVR evidence and adoption strategies and influencing the yearly business planning process to set evidence and adoption priorities
• Collaborate across functions, regions, and BUs to deliver an actionable strategic plan
• Other incidental duties
What you’ll need (Required):
• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in clinical, scientific, technical, quantitative, business administrative, or Finance (FP&A)

• 10 years of experience of related work experience or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria Required or

• Master's Degree or equivalent in related field, 8 years of experience of related work experience or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria
• 5 years experience direct experience in sales, strategy, marketing, management consulting, business development, strategic trial management, or strategic program ownership, etc.

What else we look for (Preferred):
• Direct experience in market development, patient activation, therapy adoption, care pathway building

• Direct experience (clinical, administrative, industry, etc.) in the cathlab, with heart teams, with interventional cardiologists, with screening protocols (echocardiography, CTs, etc.) in the structural heart industry

• Either direct experience or demonstrable fluency/curiosity of leveraging Artificial Intelligence across internal business processes, external business models, capability building, etc.

• Ability to synthesize complex information into a high-level strategic message, and to interpret internal/external business factors into recommendations and solutions

• Expert understanding and interpretation of complicated market dynamics with the ability to identify and quantify market potential, and build business case with both business and financial analysis skills
• Proven expertise in PowerPoint, Excel, clinical and financial comprehension, strategic frameworks, and live presentations, with high attention to detail and output

• Expert understanding of related aspects of business operations and/or systems engineering
• Ability to develop and integrate metrics into the projects and operations that clearly demonstrate value to the business
• Ability to listen to stakeholders, discover unmet needs, develop strong rapport with audience, and be customer-focused

• Demonstrated experience working with a range of professionals to help navigate through complex situations
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills
• Recognized as an expert in own area with specialized depth and breadth of expertise within area of work in the organization
• Strict attention to detail

Aligning our overall business objectives with performance, we offer competitive salaries, performance-based incentives, and a wide variety of benefits programs to address the diverse individual needs of our employees and their families.
For California, the base pay range for this position is $145,000 - $205,000 (highly experienced).

Skills Required
