  • Monitor and ensure compliance with state nexus and marketplace facilitator regulations

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, Legal, and other stakeholders on tax planning and regulatory needs

  • Develop tax strategies to reduce liability, improve compliance, and minimize audit risk

  • Build and implement standardized transfer pricing methods and documentation

  • Stay current on global tax developments; communicate impacts to leadership

  • Document tax policies, procedures, and close processes

  • Lead special projects and continuous improvements to support the tax function

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business or equivalent experience; CPA strongly preferred, LLM a plus

  • 7+ years of relevant experience, including 1-3 years in public accounting; mix of US and international tax exposure strongly preferred

  • Expertise in U.S. corporate income tax, tax compliance, and ASC 740 provisions

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and global tax concepts (transfer pricing, international tax structures)

  • Familiarity with tax obligations related to marketplace facilitators (e.g., 1099-K)

  • Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple external partners

  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with auditors, regulators, and cross-functional teams

  • Experience with tax software and ERP systems (NetSuite, Avalara) preferred

  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused

Your First Six Months:

  • Build strong relationships with external tax advisors and auditors

Your First 12+ Months:

  • Implement a standardized, scalable process for quarterly and annual tax provisions

  • Develop a system to monitor and evaluate tax law changes (domestic and international)

  • Present key legislative updates and their implications to leadership

  • Recommend and implement tax strategies that enhance compliance, efficiency, and growth
