Job Description:

The Global In-house Consulting team was established to tackle difficult business challenges across the entire Mars Global Snacking business. We are looking for experienced management consultants to join our team at the Sr. Manager level. Qualified individuals will play a critical role in solving project work to bring forward-thinking solutions to Mars Snacking. 
 
Ideal candidates will have previously worked in management consulting at a top-tier firm and demonstrated strong analytical and process skills. 

 

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Business or related field is required. MBA/MS is strongly preferred. 
  • 5+ years experience in either global corporate strategy or strategy consulting at a top tier firm (with preference for CPG industry experience) 
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to break problems into logical sub-components, build a framework for analysis, collect and structure large amounts of data, and conduct thoughtful analyses to arrive at business recommendations 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to synthesize and clearly communicate complex findings through focus on critical issues and actionable opportunities 
  • Ability to quickly establish rapport, credibility, trust, and respect, with peers, team members, and executives 
  • Track record of success in effectively owning and driving complex projects involving frequent interaction with senior executives 
  • Comfort in dealing with ambiguity 
  • Extensive experience in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel required 
  • Passion for consumer goods and our brands 

 

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • The Sr. Manager owns and manages a specific piece of a consulting project and is responsible for ensuring it's on track and all deliverables are met on time 
  • You need to identify key analyses that needs to be performed, build a plan for how tackle it, gather all relevant data from stakeholders, execute analyses and summarize your findings in easily digestible and compelling presentations 
  • You are responsible for all day-to-day activities related to your module and to flag any potential issues or roadblocks to project leadership for resolution 
  • You oversee the formulation of hypotheses for research and investigation, and for executing complicated analyses related to Mars, competitors, and the snacking industry 
  • You summarize your findings and conclusions in a presentation and present it to leadership and relevant Mars stakeholders

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.

The pay range shown is applicable to all US locations listed within the job posting:USD 134,400.00 - USD 184,800.00
