Reporting to the Sr Director, Global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, you will provide strategic direction and advisory on topics related to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The role will require a DEI expert that has a natural ability to engage, empower and work with all levels in the organization from all backgrounds to establish a truly diverse, equitable and inclusive team.
You will p romote a work environment that is accepting, emphasizes teamwork, has a respect for differences, and has an appreciation for constructive feedback. Analyzing trends and diversity analytics you will develop DEI programs that align with the DEI strategy. You will provide support in obtaining diversity analytics, including benchmarking, tracking metrics, analyzing, and generating diversity reporting for various audiences to highlight trends and demonstrate impact of DEI programs and initiatives. You will facilitate the review of policies and providing input to ensure alignment with DEI best practices. You will develop and deliver DEI-related learning content in and engaging
How You'll Add Value:

  • Design and enable initiatives that align to our DEI strategy
  • Implement plans, programs and initiatives to drive DEI within McCain globally
  • Research and advise on diversity, equity and inclusion issues and recommend solutions
  • Act as an internal expert on DEI including legislation and employment laws, external trends, market dynamics and best practices
  • Support the development and maturity of Employee Resource Groups
  • Monitor and assess our organizational systems for barriers that do not support our DEI vision
  • Promote tools and resources to enhance employee understanding on DEI issues
  • Draft, edit and finalize timely and relevant internal and external communications/collateral (i.e., Intranet, Award submissions, Awards, Rankings, success stories, DEI reports, articles, newsletters). Work with Communications on their dissemination through multiple communication channels.
  • Generate ideas for communication content through research, collaboration with team members, and discussions with subject matter experts
  • Stay up-to-date on DEI news, trends, best practices and competitive intelligence
  • Apply creativity and storytelling in the creation of content and presentations


About You:

  • Previous experience with the development and implementation of DEI initiatives. Expertise in the design and implementation of inclusion programs and offerings, and content for leaders
  • Demonstrated knowledge in DEI principles and up-to-date knowledge in this area
  • Ability to leverage data and insights to influence and develop solutions
  • Broad business acumen with an enterprise mindset. Preferred global experience, leading within multiple cultures
  • Significant experience with project management - having had leadership roles over projects
  • Collaborative; experienced with supporting stakeholders and team members in a matrixed environment
  • Proven ability to assess and understand business needs, synthesize findings and deliver content to support strategic initiatives
  • Ability to build strategies, content and deliver to key stakeholders
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A strong communicator, both written and verbally, with ability to create content for multiple channels
  • Ability to collaborate with senior leaders
  • Self directed and independent thinker
  • Post secondary education in Communications or Human Resources, or equivalent, coupled with 2+ years of DEI experience preferably within a global organization.
