The Role

We are looking for an experienced global benefits professional to support our rapid growth. This role requires subject matter expertise as well as market knowledge. Ideal candidate has experience operationalizing strategic initiatives, measuring performance metrics and defining program communications to increase understanding, drive employee engagement and improve program appreciation 

 

The individual in this role must be comfortable working with individuals in a variety of roles both within and outside of the company. Incumbent will demonstrate strong collaborative skills and ability to deliver white glove client service. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Work with Benefits leadership and HR partners to apply the benefits philosophy and strategy into actions which support the business 

  • Monitor performance metrics and standards, through internal and external resources 

  • Develop internal vendor score card in consultation with procurement. Measure trends and report on performance on monthly basis 

  • Monitor annual and cyclical global benefits calendar and support local resources as needed for timely completion  

  • Track global benefit spend/ budget: Participate in budget planning, and forecasting. Prepare leadership-ready analysis on performance, cost trends, utilization, risks, employee impact, vendor performance, and investment tradeoffs. 

  • Support deployment of multinational funding, governance, and plan design strategies across global markets 

  • Support International Benefits and Compensation resources to execute global strategy and philosophy 

  • Support International Senior Benefits Manager for renewals and enrollment strategy, including plan changes, stakeholder alignment, employee communications, leadership engagement, and post-enrollment analysis. 

  • Develop global communications strategy themes and templates for global messaging. Work with local resources for appropriate delivery 

  • Track effectiveness of communications through employee feedback, data accuracy and measurable results  

  • Work with international team and or local resources to ensure benefits programs, policies, documentation, vendor processes, and operating practices are compliant, well-controlled, audit-ready 

  • Develop junior staff the benefits team while building capability for future scale. 

  

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s Degree 

  • 8-10+ years’ experience working with a multi-national organization or 10+  years’ experience in global benefits design and delivery 

  • Experience with the design, administration and compliance of global benefits 

  • Proven experience developing and monitoring global benefits programs, including benefits strategy, plan design, vendor management, renewals, employee communications, and wellbeing programs. 

  • Knowledge of statutory requirements, regulations, pay transparency disclosure and compliance requirements etc. 

  • Experience supporting benefits across multiple countries or regions, with the ability to balance global consistency with local market practices. 

  • Experience in sports, media, and entertainment industry. 

  • Acquisition integration experience 

  • Ability to move quickly, managing multiple priorities, working collaboratively in cross-functional work 

  • Strong organizational, analytical, financial, and project management skills. Ability to synthesize data from multiple sources and analyze trends  

  • Experience evaluating benefits funding models, including fully insured and self-insured approaches. 

  • Experience coaching and  influencing teams, including setting priorities and supporting team development. 

  • Practical fluency with AI, automation, analytics, or emerging technologies, with sound judgment around confidential employee data, privacy, compliance, and human oversight. 

  • Experience with Workday,  benefits administration platforms, vendor/broker platforms, or related HR technology is a plus.


Location

This role is hybrid, based in our Los Angeles or New York City office.
 

Compensation

The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $161,000 - $190,000. This position is also eligible for benefits and a discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in the role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
